He is, it's just he's also an insanely niche character, if Wu had done say a Laser Prime in Toxi's deco pretty sure the outcome may have been different.

I thought that the Optimus green deco was based on the Atmos Duck Camo inspired MP10 figure? This has no relevance to Bape correct?

 

Doctor Wu has stated from the beginning that this is the “green monkey” edition.

I wish there was more yellow on the base fig, but I suppose that's a more recent addition to PC figs versus the original Diaclone figure.

Still, it seems nice, so I'm probably gunna pick this up and have them oppose Nemesis Prime in their eventual armor, which I sure hope we see soon!

The one thing I wish Dr. Wu could have done is rotating hands/wrist as that's just about the only articulation missing, which is crazy for something this small to outdo mainline figures.

I came here for these comparison shots; I wish it were a little easier to tell which version a given seller has listed on ebay.

I also wonder how long it will take to get an animation deco version of the trailer since I am sure this isn't the last red-and-blue Optimus variant they'll be releasing.

Any idea where we can order an E-04 toy version from these days and actually receive one? My last attempt got me another toon version, albeit including the matching roller and axe.

 

unless you get extremely lucky, i think you might have a real hard time as they were supposed to be limited to 500 and it appears to have sold out every where.
