A Z-shaped sword is so dorky and impractical yet somehow still badass.

Why this didn't come with him to begin with, is beyond me.

The Z-Sword is not missing, it's made up from the wings, like the original toy's.

Very nice, but the zone boys are only distantly on my wishlist. Factoring in I'd want two awkward to get upgrades to make him right doesn't help. If I already had him it'd be another story.

I always thought the Z sword was formed out of his wings.

That may be correct for the original toy, but last I checked the CHUG version can't detach the wings at all.

As someone who owns it, yes it can. Not to mention, detaching the wings is part of the transformation and seen in every photo that compares robot to vehicle mode.

    Nice!

I love Shockwave Lab upgrades. I still need to pickup #27 and #33 for myself.. but this one looks great!

I think of the combined detachable wings as being more like a shield than a sword. I prefer to leave them on as wings in the robot mode, though.

Shockwave Labs SL-53 is what I call a real Z-Sword.
