DR.WU W-01 Shark Clones Don't know if this is news, but just looked on seibertron.com and noticed that robotkingdom had some new info on this new 3rd party products.

 

Box is very cool and good to see it will probably come with more than one shark clone.

 

I'm thinking these would be nice to set up a diorama of some key scenes from the movie. Hopefully we do get a few per pack at a reasonable price.

Please tell me this is a bucket-O-Sharkticons and buying it means dumping a bunch of them out...

 

Cant wait to see how these guys size up against mp grimlock.

Agree, that would be the sensible way to sell these guys. Also, hilarious box is hilarious.

Firstly, not news.
Secondly, they're resin, not PVC.
Thirdly, they come in a box of three, with one featuring 'battle damage'
Fourthly, in the highly unlikely event that they ever make it over to my side of the world they will be mine.

 

Information about boxes that stuff comes in has traditional been considered news around here. NEW information that is.

Where are you getting the "3 per box with one battle damaged" info? None of the pics we've seen for the little guys show any that are battle damaged among the horde.

Bummer on that resin not PVC bit too, if confirmed. Where did you get that from? The apparently moveable and thin tails on these guys suggest they have some flexibility that I am not sure resin would be all that good for. Maybe the main bodies are resin and the limbs/tail are plastic or rubber?

I haven't gone clicking through a lot of the links so maybe I just flew past it.

I thought it was reported in the last thread that of the three in the box that 2 would be mint and the third would be a factory second, ergo the "battle damage" comment.

 

Is this suppose to go with the classics or the masterpiece?

One of the things this site is for is to report on new figures comming out and updates on figures. That's what this is so this IS news lol.

I really hope these do not come with some over the top price tag. For 3 of these in a pack i would pay like 10$ , 15$ tops becuase they are so small and no nothing but sit there looking cool..

 

Interesting packaging, though for my money I'd rather have a transforming Sharkicon over a transforming box.

 

With them being mini's, almost seem they are targeted towards the Commander/Legends class as they look too small even for Deluxe sized characters. Anyone know for sure?

 

I don't think they will ever explicitly say who they are "supposed" to go with.

Frankly, they'd work well with a lot of stuff. I intend to have Legends Wheelie riding Grimlock with Sharkticons all over the place.

Secondly, where does it say the contents of the box? Can you back your info up with a link?


I think they look great and to echo what everyone else has said, these will be snapped up quickly for the right quantity to price ratio. Packaging is equally as awesome.
