After playing with Energy Dragon I kinda wish the Trypticon also had a cube form. It'd be like a Borg ship. :D

I'm so excited for this. My Very First Third Party Figure! I can't wait for a Dr Wu Cube Metroplex (is it confirmed to be happening yet?)

Battle damaged limited edition already in the hands of Chinese collectors.

Man Battle Damaged just looks like normal Trypticon, which makes the regular release just look so very very bizarre by comparison.

I am very, very tempted to get this, but only if we know for sure a Metroplex will be coming as well. It would just be weird to me having Trypticon without his nemesis.

I've owned several Trypticon toys, never a Metroplex. Embrace Decepticon supremacy.

Just get it. It's a fun figure to play with all by itself. It's possible that by the time they ever do a Metroplex Trypticon could be sold out at most places. Then you'll end up paying more for it.

Here's a quick lil review of Dr Wu's Battle Damaged Energy Dragon that DW shared on their feed... https://weibo.com/1088900641/MrKalAZbU

Now, while I'm interested in what a DW Metroplex--and their recolors--might look like, I got Energy Dragon because I love Beastformers, and Dinos/Kaiju in particular.

Tho, the funny thing is that I put a preorder for the Battle Damage deco at ShowZ first, and then ordered the regular when I realized it wasn't quite as bright a white in spots as the initial promotional photos displayed.

But, I wasn't honestly sure if I was gunna keep my BD ED preorder last week, and was considering just losing that dollar deposit and waiting for the Dark Deco, which I think might be the nicest of the lot to me.

However, I paid it off just to add a lil more to my growing lil Trypticon fighter escort for MasterMade's Diabolus Rex. ^v^

That was a nice review... I wish that I was able to utilize the spring-loaded missile gimmick but being that neither one of my missiles can actually retract I don't see how it would be possible. Anyone else have this issue?

I had to push HARD to get them to lock in. It's finnicky but it works.

That's a shame as you need to retract them for cube mode. I had an issue with one of them. I posted about it and how I fixed it about a week ago. Scroll back a page or 2 and you will see how I fixed mine. It's a simple thing where you need to adjust the plastic spring inside just a very small amount.

I got the battle damage version in but the (turpentine?) smell is insane. Anyone have experience with removing the smell from bots with this type of treatment? I put him in a box with baking soda. I kinda want to wash him with water, but I’m not sure whether that’s so smart.

I only ever had that smell once from my instructions to DX9's War In Pocket Sonic Wizard, and I just left those in their box in a crawl space... for some months... xD

Put it in a bag with a bar of Ivory soap. Can remove most any smell. (then once it has a clean soapy smell, just let it air out and it'll dissipate into no smell at all)
