Ditto- been waiting for Dr Wu to do these guys since I got their Squalktalk. This happened right under my nose and i remained blissfully unaware until today. Showz appears to be the only popular etailer to carry it thus far. none of the US etailers have it,or have had it up for PO. Hopefully soon- I want these guys.

kind of a bummer that neither cassette mode seems to have the reel detail indicative of actual cassettes. For how good they look in both vehicle modes and combined, I can forgive it. Hopefully Wu will do Ramhorn and Steeljaw next, as well as the dino cassettes. Wouldn't mind seeing him redo Ravage, Laserbeak, Rumble/Frenzy either, as I'm thinking they'd at least have better articulation than the official, and Ravage could do with a serious makeover.

I think it's just cool looking tried to see if it was supposed to be shattered glass but don't think so I'll probably buy this version and the basic version it'd be fun to get the Black Version too.

Skytread - a simple and easy fix. Flywheels retains the original name and we have an addition to the Autobot ranks.

Headcanon will have him as a mirror opposite of Flywheels, with both halves working seamlessly to achieve whatever goal is necessary for the Autobot cause. As a result, he can be perceived as self-assured, even a bit cocky, but isn’t effectiveness the most important measure of a ‘bot? Although an effective warrior, he can sometimes find himself in situations he thought he could handle on his own, but can’t.

I didn't realize these were a thing. I enjoyed their version of Squawkbox, so I'm definitely in for the G1 Slamdance at least. The green and black decos look great as well, though if I do get them they will be impulse purchases.

 

having larger weapons would be a large improvement. not only are they a choking hazard, but they are incredible easy to lose.

 

I ordered mine from ShowZ on October 9th and I’m pretty sure I got in on day one.

 

I definitely had the combined gun fall apart on me at least once when repositioning Chatter, and a couple more times long ago when I first got them and was first transforming and combining them, and those are some pretty tiny pieces to go skittering about.

Meanwhile, I’m just patiently waiting for Third Parties to devote some attention to the Air Defense, Air Assault, Space and Speed Chaser Minicon Teams.

No problem, been checking since the black one was revealed. Need him for my Mercs/Soundblaster. Not sure what I'll do with the green set (SG or Twincast) but glad that Blaster will have some extra tape buddies soon(ish). Wish Dr Wu would give us other tapes as well.

 

I hope Overkill and Slugfest are next. Or… if they want to continue their theme, do the two combiner dino cassette sets.
