I gots myself a little jorb advancement/promotion at workie this week I, DARK LORD OF MINOR ANNOYANCES AND HIGH MASTER OF SPACE, TIME, & OTHER CRAP LIKE THAT ; was asked to take over the 'swing' days in the Electronic Department at work (overnights at Wal-Mart). I will be covering Electronics Sunday nights and the worst night of them all... Monday Nights (new movie night... there is a crowd expected for Corpse Bride and 3 associates wanting the shippers!). This marks a good thing for me. I got a nice raise (just shy of $9 bucks and hour now) and have management approval to hold the Game Case Keys over my friends heads when they want to get a game (I am serious about that one. My managers freakin' ROCK ). Just one more step until I can conquer Wal-Mart and then take over the MidWest (gotta take babysteps these days to take over the world unless I want to be bugged by some spandex-wearing twit that shall remain nameless).
Congrats. Now if only my review coming up next month A) Actually happens this time and B) I get more than the 13 cent raise I got last year.

I will be covering Sporting Goods as well (my classification IS actually Sporting Goods Associate/Electronic Associate) so I have access to most Sports-related weaponary (but no guns... Wal-Mart stops selling them when I clock in). There is already a decent guy (but a cantancous old dick at times) that has that area covered perfectly. I'm supposed to cover some department in the general area (Housewares, Hardware, Automotive, Domestics/Crafts). I won't have Toys though since there is a kickass associate already there.
congrats Doom. I have to cover our Produce Dept on Mondays (12-9) though for about 2 hours of that my boss is actually there, so it ends up being 12-1, and 3-9. And the same thing on Saturdays (same times). Kinda funny seeing as how I haven't even been there for a year and they put me in charge when they are gone.
If you really want to avoid Richards, You'd best not be cobbling Doombots out of PSP's and X-boxes then.
I worked third shift at Walmart... Tue - Sat. Best time i had at a job. It is fairly empty, no annoying customers (well you are in electronics so you will get some). A full hour for lunch.. Employee discount on EVERYTHING!!!
Congrats. And you could have worse trouble taking over the world. Imagine if your nemesis was Cyclops. It would be so humiliating to be regularly beaten by that tool. Well, not Ultimate X-Men Cyclops. he isn't so bad.
