Glad I can be of service to you!

No, I don't sorry. I just coated his hands with Testors Flat Gray, and then added the Yellow (with a few drops of Testors Red mixed in) using a fine tipped cheap paintbrush. Nothing too fancy! Once I do the mods for the mini wings I'll have a more informed reply for you!

Honestly, you get a glimpse of what I was trying to do on my BB in post #5 but I was having difficulty with that approach. I really think OP1983 has the right idea for it.

There are 3 mods I will be doing to complete Double Blaster BB:

    1. Hood Mod (may be a slight variation from OP1983's)
    2. Transformable mini wings
    3. Ball Jointed Wrists

I may look around for someone to do some dry brushing on him... or not. His colors look pretty cool to me already!

I hope to see your take on the hood soon Savio. As for the transformable lower wings, you better take a lot of pics and share!! Though, I've been looking at it, and I might have an idea as well.. Hmmmmmmm, :lol . And how do you plan to approach the ball jointed wrists?? I was looking at it, and there are 1 of 2 things that need be done. Either make the ball joints double ended so that they can avoid hitting the little things that jut out over the top of his hands, OR cut those little things that jut out over his hands back.. Which are you planning, or is it seekwet?? Also, what are you reffering to in post #5?? I don't get what you were aiming for. I see a 2 bladed BB.. Or are you saying for the symmetry of the figure??

I certainly will, but as I discovered the supposed approach my wife grabbed me out of the house for dinner and a movie (Inception). I'll show you guys what I've come up with tomorrow. All it took was a flat square blade razor to do all the necessary cuts. I'll have to bond the hood parts to the central hood panel like OP1983 did.

Here's one pic I was able to take before going out. I promise to post more pics!

Nice approach!! :thumb  While I'm trying to get the doors closer together towards the center of Bee's back, I like your execution as well my friend. Great work man. Also, how do you intend to glue the parts of the hood to the center piece?? I've gotten mine glued up, but it seems... fragile.. I think is the word.

Pictures updated and transferred over to my first post.

OP1983, I used your idea for the hood separation and it worked excellent! What I did to connect the outer corner hood segments to the central flap was score up the surfaces in a cross hatch pattern with an exacto blade. Then I used super glue to adhere them together. The connection turned out to be very strong! Thanks again for coming up with that idea. In the 5th post you can see that I sliced up the hood in similar fashion, but the way I went about it didn't work because of the side panels [the doors are attached to] became obstacles for what I wanted. It ended up being a dead end.
