Man, if you could connect SOME of the parts, he would look great. Here's hoping the parts can be better seperated and maybe mistransformed. The standard bot mode looks good, but not ROTF Leader Prime good. Particularly thanks to the forearms. Maybe they can reveal guns and swords, that might help it. I would also bet with a trailer that size he isn't going to be as big as ROTF leader Prime in his standard mode.

 

On the plus side, if you ignore the silly wings, I do quite like the bot part of the combined mode.

I have a funny feeling this one could end up packaged in truck mode.

 

Even for your typical Hasbro almost-certainly-mistransformed promoshoot, the hyperbole runs high in this thread.

 

It looks like you get two optimus primes, one is the made out of the trailer and the other out of the truck.

DEF PASS on this figure... so far, only plan on getting Shockwave and the Fire Truck for sure.. a few Maybes til we see the Ferrari, Benz, and Datsun B

 

It looks to me like Armada Prime's combined mode transformed improperly. It looks like what would happen if you took the base mode and flipped the panels that form the back and sides of Armada Prime's legs behind his back...then again, even when transformed properly Armada Prime looked like ass so...

 

I'll say this much. I'm looking forward to seeing what a radicon can do to this.

Man.......those arms are awful. Its not that bad looking, but it has some major flaws. Maybe if we get some decent poses in his combine mode it might look better but has it stands now...ouch!

Seriously it would have been better if he was a partsformer and the parts were just stored in the trailer.

Someone needs to go into that toy design dept and kick some major arse over that abomination

 

I think the combined mode looks pretty cool. I'll buy it, and display it that way, or in vehicle mode.

I think in the normal robot mode shot, the mid-section might compress a little, to hide the blue part. Might. I won't be upset if it doesn't, I've already got an awesome Optimus to display as "normal optimus prime".

The arms in normal mode don't look good, but I can look past that because the combined mode arms look great. That's what matters to me.

Yeah, I like it. It looks like a fun toy.

 

Uh... I wasn't expecting an incredible masterpiece from this. I figured that it would be simplified with electronics.

But... that's poor.

Well, I love the Supreme Devastator, so maybe better pictures will change my mind. But man, those forearms...

 

OK, OK. I will close my eyes and buy this thing on clearance (Devastator eventually dropped to £40) I'm hoping that the top 2 wings can at least tilt back.

PLUS I'm happy to assume that the arms are mistransformed merely because those wheels vanish in combined mode meaning there is either an alternate placement or they detachable. I'm thinking the former.
