I don't see how his arms can be mistransformed, the front wheels are on the arms when they should be at the bottom of the legs. Unless you have to detatch the wheels and then put them there like damn Lego, i don't think his arms are mistransformed.

Kinda disappointed with the combined mode from what I've seen so far, but I may be turned around with better pictures. Honestly, I was hoping for something closer to a power-suit, with a jetpack, full torso armor and a BFG, or something like that. Also, not too big a fan of the butterfly-style wings.

Prime himself looks pretty decent. Much more sleek and less bulky in robot-mode than RotF Prime, and the Alt-mode looks decent. It might not be as great as RotF Prime in terms of engineering, but it still looks great in its own right.

EXCEPT for those atrocious forearms. I really hope there's more transformation there that's been left out, because as it stands, each forearm is just chunk of hood and front-wheel with a hand slapped onto the end. It's big, bulky, and looks incredibly untransformed, especially in comparison with the rest of Prime.

The Combined alt-mode looks fantastic. I get giddy just looking at it and imagining how big it'd have to be. There's just something about Prime with trailer that always makes me smile.

And finally, the price is unfortunately too big for me to take a swing at it at my current impression of the thing. It'll probably translate to $100 Canadian, and it's far to much for me to shell out all at once, even if the figure ends up being amazing. I'll probably have to nab it on sale, IF it ends up being worth owning.

You know Hasbro failed when even Devastator was worth getting at clearance, and this isn't.

So this is Hasbro's idea of armor nowadays? You'd think they'd have been able to look back in the past and borrow a thing or two from RiD Prime??

Dragonfly Fairy Prime is a big no for me. Shame, doesn't look like I'll be getting any DOTM Primes at this stage.

Might buy this for the trailer in alt. mode and the combined mode. Robot mode by itself may be inferior to RotF Leader Optimus, but then again, who would buy this toy for just that robot mode?

Or I could spend the $80 on TF: Prime and any remaining RTS/Generations stuff...

I'm quite happy with my HFD Voyager Prime.

Ok, so far I'm just getting Voyager Shockwave and Megatron.

wow...that combined robot mode is weak (really? those panels can't fold in or anything?), but I'll get it just to have the alt. mode. Finally....Optimus' trailer returns.

I suspect you're right there. Maybe, when we see it at Toy Fair, we'll get a better look at this thing that doesn't make it look horrible. Honestly, the only thing I don't like about it is the misplacement of the wheels on the arms.

Does he come with a can of Energon Spinach? I mean...he looks like Poptimus Eyeme with those forearms. Now all we need is the Swee Bee version of Bumblebee and Arcee Oyl. Ok...I'm out of bad puns...and apologize if I offended any Popeye fans, fo which I yam one too.

Why did they step up their game on their other lines, giving something great for everyone with even better engineering and articulation.......only to simplify and dumb down the movie line?

It's like they're trying to shoehorn a G1 "boxy" style onto the movie figures this go round, only to have them looking odd. It looks decent, but I doubt I'll cough up the cash on it. The trailer is nice though.

The regular robot mode isn't bad except for the arms DEAR GOD!!!!!!!!!! How can they put all the small freaking detail into the RTS lines but not have a better way to fold down those arms.

But I will not completely hate yet. We can all pray it's a mistransformation.

As for the trailer... Love the nice size of it compared to his alt/truck mode. Actually holds up for size. And the armor all over doesnt look too bad.

BUT, what is up with the dragonfly (fairy) wings??? Couldn't they come up with a cooler looking wing than that?
