You know...I keep looking at this thing, and the thing that bugs me the most are the wheels on the tips of the wings. Why did they do that? That just looks awful. Why couldn't they have designed it to move them closer in to the base of the wing? Makes no sense.

I donno...I mean that detail alone wouldn't suddenly make it better...But it would be slightly less of an eye sore.

I guess I'll have to find another Buster Prime and customize the trailer to combine with it...

I don't think you'll have an easy time with that, since going by the size of the mechtech ports on this, the base optimus figure is around voyager size.

Can you say disapointed! i'll stick with my Rotf leader class O.P

I dont understand, they have a perfect template to work off with ROTF Leader class Prime and they come up with that. WTF!

I would like the trailer though...

I opened this thread with great excitement to see... this. The robot proportions are painful to my eyes with those stumpy little anorexic legs and massive arms. Combined mode doesn't look too bad, despite reminding me of a fairy. Alt mode does look good though.

Can't see myself picking this guy up.

Easy pass. ROTF Buster Prime is clearly as good as we'll get.

It's like the opposite of Transmetal 2 era's shortened character Torsos (Iguanus,TM2 Cheetor) -DOTM gives us over elongatted Torsos as seen on this Optimus & Voyager Megatron.

Would it be unfair to say this sucks a bit ?

Honestly this is so downy, i mean look what we got with the ROTF Voyeger and Leader Primes, they are masterpieces compared to this crap, i mean even the first movie prime figure looks better to me then this, the feet are good but i dont remember primes ankles being attached to his wrists, thats his only downfall even the voyeger prime for this film looks like a super sized F.A.B

Ya know the figure doesn't look so bad, and the trailer mode looks good too, but dear oh dear that combined mode is heartbreaking.

looks like a fun kids toy. I'll get it and see if it goes with the last rotf Prime as a trailer. If it doesn't, it shouldn't be a hard mod.

So yeah, I don't hate it. I will buy it in 2013 when it will undoubtedly be £40. I'm just so disappointed. This bot mode was purely made FOR the trailer rather than the trailer built around the figure. Or else we might ave gotten a better proportioned figure.

So, are half of the DOTM toys designed by Hasbros in house team? It seems theres a disparity between some of the toys and others, one so big it's hard to account for natural sliding down along the rails of success. I really am half tempted to say that Hasbro's got their Crossovers team on some of these...

This thing is a monstrosity. I actually can't believe how bad it looks. It really does feel like the designers are having a massive laugh at our expense.

Oh well, at least this will be a cheaper summer than I was expecting.

After ROTF Leader Prime and Battle Blades Prime these DOTM Primes are quite pathetic. Oh well, new voyager Prime is at least decent when compared with 2007 mold and this Ultimate isn't horrible but... come on. ULTIMATE=about 80$, Unicron sized in super mode? And it looks worse than ROTF Jetfire+Prime combination, though they had to think about Jetfire's robot mode and jet mode, but still they included at least decent combine mode!

This time they had opportunity to make big badass-power-up-Prime , but... meh. Well, I understand that it's hard to make trailer to transform into power-up armor for movie toy, but still.

Well, maybe I'll get him. He could be quite good if the super mode we've seen in the picture is horribly mistransformed.

I could get 7-8 Prime Deluxes with the money this would cost, and based on what we've seen over the last 24 hours I know what I'd rather buy!
