OMG THIS IS PERFECT FOR MY LITTLE SISTER!!! She has ALWAYS WANTED A PRINCESSLAND FAIRY PRIME!! THANK YOU SO MUCH HASBRO!! I can totally tell that you have chosen NEW designers for this line!!! The holes in it are superb!! The "stiff" look of it is just incredible!! I cannot wait to add this next to her "my little pony" collection!

I am however not getting why you wouldnt release a "Movie" version of DOTM Optimus?? It would sell well...But this is all any fan would need i guess:)  Its reaaaaaally super cute, but overall just doesn't quite capture the magic you had with ROTF Leader Prime.:)  but we all know that wasnt what you were going for;)  dont worry, that'll be your little secret *wink wink

I dont know what kind of "hallucinagen" your "decision" makers are sharing, but This DOTM line is straight up fabulously feminine!! Ill be looking forward to "Starlight Starscream" & "Malibu Megatron" the way this line is going. GREAT WORK!! Paint job is a little manly but like most, i think my lil sis can see past it.;p

Now Im really glad I payed the extra cash and ordered Buster Prime, its like this, the 80 bucks that I would have put toward this thing I put toward Buster Prime:)  The sad part is that the odds of me getting a DOTM Prime are looking pretty slim:(

In all fairness, I don't think it's quite as big a let down as that was. But Devastator really did a lot to lower the bar in terms of what we could hope to expect.

Who is in charge of the movie toys? it seems like they took three steps back. Either they have no budget, or their creative team has no talent. There is no way in hell I would spend 79.99 for that hunk of plastic crap.

I really agree with this. After the initial shock of it, I've grown to be OK with this. I'm still disappointed in those arms but, honestly, if I get this guy, he'll be displayed with the armor more often than not. He really does looks OK otherwise.

I think the combined mode will look better NOT Hasbro photo-shopped up. I hope articulation isn't too limited with the armor on.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but man, why do posters think that Hasbro's Transformers division has the money, designers, and time to just shit out stuff like a Generations Metroplex? I suppose it needs to be Supreme class, be fully posable, have three modes, and interact with Legends class figures too? Do you not understand that that's basically an unprecedented figure? Not to mention a GUARANTEED shelfwarmer?

Hasbro makes giant figures to rule Christmas, not self-indulgently re-live the brand's history.

And the worst part is, we are talking about a character whose whole schtick and personality can be summed up by the word "big."

    Rant over.

On the subject of this figure, I almost wish I had a little cousin or something to buy this for. It looks really fun to play with. Alas, I grade my TFs on posability and accuracy, because I don't have time to break out twenty MechTech weapons and some big Decepticon toys and smash and bash my way to happiness. :)

I think this figure will make kids and parents a lot happier than either of the past Leader Primes. I feel sorry for anyone who's just feeling sorry for himself over the fact that he doesn't want to buy it.

Besides, I'll go out on a limb and say that Sentinel Prime is the "love letter to collectors" this time around. Just a gut feeling and a guess...he's a Leader, without electronics in the Transforming part, a kick-ass alt-mode, and apparently a well-integrated Mechtech a la Megatron and Shockwave.

I'm hoping that huge butterfly can come off OP without him losing his silver armor. Maybe the butterfly backpack, hopefully, is the command center, not the armor itself.

If OP can't stand alone with his silver armor, away from the butterfly backpack, this is an easy pass...

From the looks of it im guessing this toy may be taller then unicron but shorter then supreme cheetor. doesnt look terrible, just plug all the mech tech weapons onto him an call it a day, plug the voyager HA helicopter into him, or any of the other HA mech tech figures and this guy is gonna shine, imagine the kids using this guy to fight their Megazords

So much fail...I don't even know where to begin.

Wow, the wheels are solid black. Save ya 2 cents/figure there, Hasbro?

This is worse than ROTF JetPrime or Superme Devastator...amazing.

For some reason, if this would have been Ultra Magnus, I would buy it with out a doubt. I need to wait if it is a leader size cab or not to decide if I would buy UOP.

How the heck will they be out of budget? ROTF earned 1billion worldwide easily. They are certainly F-ing with us. They probably thought FANS are stupid and hungry like pigs that no matter what they throw at us we will simply and blindly accept (buy).

i didn't like the original pics of jetfire and prime combined, but i found away to combine the two the way i like it,

so i assume the same will be true for this.

i will probably buy it :)
