Huh, my Space Case's right shoulder was too tight to fit in too. That's a pretty weird QC thing to have across the board, though it is pretty easy to fix.
Sigh. Terradive has the classic 'Con badge. Space Case has movieverse 'Con badge. How will they ever be friends?
Found mine this morning, he's really nice. No QC problems to speak of. Paint apps are very nice as well! The only downside I can see to Space Case will be his scarcity.

Interesting. I remember when Target did that with the All-Spark exclusives they had for the first movie.
Found mine today. The paint job is outstanding. Glad I found this and repaint Jazz, only 1 each from a case of 8.
Thanks for that info. I hate asking for people to check in the back, since I know occasionally that employees get in trouble for that. (My Target once put signs out a couple years ago telling customers that they wouldn't check the back for toys.) Now I know I should definitely check out my Target on Sunday (and maybe once more in the middle of the week.)
In regards to checking in the back, I didn't know about the release date, but Target has little kiosks with signs that say you can check the price or the stockroom. Why would they encourage you checking the stockroom if they weren't allowed to pull from it? I asked for help at customer service and they didn't seem to have a problem with it. As an aside, this is the only time I have ever had something pulled from the back. I just wanted this guy bad and thought he might be tough to get...If I knew about the release date at the time I probably would not have been so worried I was going to miss out. Anyway, he was well worth it to me this time
Some employees, and even upper management, at stores have never even heard of that "rule." Neither store I have worked at has ever enforced it.
Funny, I've had managerment at some stores tell me corporate tracks it. Whatever, I got my Spacecase, no trouble, and this is a great figure. Love the new head, love the colors - very striking - even if they bear minimal relation to the deco of the original. I think he and Terradive would look good as guards alongside the throne of some Decepticon leader.
I'm not sure, maybe my store is just the weird one, and the sign popped up like 4 years ago (after the first movie hit) and was only up for like 5 or 6 months. I had just assumed it was a company policy, and I'm glad to hear that it isn't. I can't wait to find one of these guys. I love the mold and am a sucker for translucent figures.
There is one store around here that did refuse to pull something out of the back for me a couple of years ago.. but theses days it seems most either don't know or care about the policy.
I got one this morning thanks to an employee pulling a case from the back. There was no room on the pegs for this case, so fortunately I got an employee who was sympathetic to the situation and was willing to help me out. I can't believe this guy is packed just one per case.
Was holding out on Terradive to get this guy, and he doesn't disappoint. Very cool mold, mine had good joints all around. Wish he had more of that sparkly white paint thats on his chest, its pretty.

Don't fret. One thing Target is good for is getting an abundance when it comes to their exclusives. Just keep an eye out and I'm sure you'll get him.
Asked a lady to grab me a case fresh box of this wave, lucky for me she did and bought this and jazz today. The feeling was the best
