Great bot-mode, terrible altmode. Even worse than ROTF Megs in that respect, at least he vaguely looked like a tank. This looks more like something my cat would do after eating half a tonne of hubba-bubba.
Say what you will, but I love it. Best DOTM toy so far. Of course, that might not be saying much, but...
it even has the hose homaged as well? I think it could plug into that open spot towards the back. Excellent voyager, I like the pierceing red eye and the sturdy take on movie mecha. The arm cannon is properly scaled for a overkill weapon wielded by shockwave.
I'm not 100% thrilled with this. Both modes look okay, and this is probably the first figure I've seen where the mechtech doesn't feel out of place, but something just feels off. Hopefully it'll look better in person, or hopefully the Leader class version will look better. Either way I'm really looking forward to the inevitable Chugway repaint.
I love him. I am surprised there is that much purple on him. He actually looks like shockwave when compared to most bayformers. Can't wait to see that on the screen.
I am guessing shockwave is not the "Jet Train" everyone is talking about. This looks like an improved version of the ROTF Megatron molds. By the way what is this hose thing supposed to be?
A purpple Megatron? Why is Bay using almost the exact same vehicle as ROTF Megatron. Even though the vehicle looks terible I will still get this guy if Hasbro doesn't make a Leader class version.
like most people I'm sort of in the middle. It works well as a movie style shock wave but I dunno this whole fad of his gun hand being this huge cannon is getting a bit much now but saying that I see the logic behind it. will I buy it? I dont know I guess I will wait and see what other classes the toy pops up in and see what the repaints are like
I am really liking this so far. As much as I would like a Generations Shockwave, this will do until then. This will be one of the very few larger sized DOTM toys I get. I am very curious to see how the Legends class Shockwave turns out!
One of the few movie Transformers that you look at and know exactly who it is. I like. He's bought along with Megatron and all the Legends...
