Already seen it. Repaint of the HFTD Ratchet toy.
Quite surprised they haven't remolded Ratchet to join the ranks of the uber-tiny voyagers. I mean, he will have a Mech Tech weapon included, which would make him vastly bulkier than the other voyagers for the same price point.
At least the leader fire truck looks to have retained a decent size, at least in alt mode.
I seriously can't wait to get the helicopter, firetruck and sideswipe when they're released in a few months.Woohoo bring on the TF Goodness.
I can see them counting his roof rack/claw thing as mechtech honestly.
From what i can make out on panel breaks, roofless Sideswipe appears to take some transformation cues from the Sidearm.
Can't make out panel break on the very front of the hood tho, and obviously head would have to be stored elsewhere.
Looks like it may be a mix of the last two molds overall?
I could've sworn pics popped up last week of what appeared to be a different deluxe mode? Shoulders were different, wheel placement around thighs was different too.
Hmm... that Helicopter looks Russian to me....
and wasn't there a report of a scene filmed with a Russian Helicopter with some USAF aircraft?
That Fire truck looks good.... and i like the Sideswipe new mold...
No it isn't, unless they repainted the wheels to attach in entirely different places from the HFTD deluxe.
Go have another look, it's a new mould, all the deluxes are new moulds. We've yet to see a single reused mould in this line, which is all the more reason why the voyager ratchet must be a ko or whatever.
That picture is nuts, Hasbro could save money on toyfair and just have a big sign that says "please see AC Toys for 2011 lineup".
New Wrecker looks boss already, Sideswipe looks good without a roof, the Fire engine looks very accurate and the helicopter (to me) looks like a blurry mess, can't really make anything out other then it's attack helicopter shaped and seems to be green.
DOTM Deluxe Ratchet is a completely new mold.
fire truck & helicoptor <3
What about Bumblebee? I think the pictures we've seen of him indicate he's just the BBBB mold with mechtech added.
I certainly am not the only one obsessed with the movie characters being in scale ...so please someone help me:
-Who is the new Ironhide supposed to be in proportion with?
Surely not Ratchet who now gets even more disproportionate (both the deluxe and the voyager).
-The Dread is too small compared to the other cars, pretty mutch like stokade in the first movie, but that's forgivable....
-The firetruck??? Maybe he's in scale with Ironhide, but I'm not certain...
-The Chopper? Have no clue...
I think that as far as rolling vehicles are concerned they could have merely kept Ironhide the same size it was before, and come up with a new, slightly scaled down, voyager Ratchet, and they would now have at least a bunch of cars and trucks (excluding the firetruck)in scale with each other.
He's slightly remolded.
That kind of went without saying.
Jesus the scale on those voyagers are complete wack. Just look at Ratchet. I know scale for Transformers has always been silly, but this is ridiculous. The Mini-voyager thing was quite true. Also, that Ratchet mold needs to die a terrible death. The Leader figure even looks small, but then again I assume that's gonna be bulk.
Robot modes please.
Hasbro Toy Fair press release:
'Due to tight security we will not be unveiling most of the DOTM toys until much closer to the opening date'.
Forgot about him. Haven't seen enough of him to say, I'd go with heavily remoulded.
No, they're just the old regular voyager Ratchet and the new deluxe Bee. But yeah, it looks damn huge, due to the fact that Ironhide is getting smaller and smaller and even the leader firetruck in the back isn't that big for a firetruck...
Also, is the Corvette that big compared to a Camaro or a Police car? I don't think so...
No Target wrecker? No Ferrari? No Benz?
I see 4 def buys......why is Ratchet bigger than Ironhide?....
Voyager Ironhide and Deluxe Ratchet look about right to me. Probably not perfect, but they look close enough to the relative vehicle sizes not to bother me.
Too bad, I'd hoped they'd use the Mechtech accessories to balance things out.
Do you really think that they'd mix in 1 fake with 18 legit toys?
Separate names with a comma.
