You guys know how in movie 1 the toys where rereleased with a better paint job and slight retooling. So do you guys think Hasbro will try this approach again?Or will we just get a post DOTM subline for next year like ROTF had for 2010?
The Premium line happened because at the time, retailers were demanding more and more movie product because it kept selling out so fast and giving the same molds another coat of paint was a quick way of getting more figures back out on to the shelves. I doubt we're ever gonna see something like that again.
To further expand, the 1st movie did not have as many molds prepared and so Premium was the way to go. Now we have a lot of molds with repaint opportunity. If you want Premium then be prepared to shell out for the Takara versions.
Are we defining "premium" based on the first movie, i.e. shiny paint jobs? Because I consider the HA line to be the preimums of the deluxes.
Your example doesn't work because Hasbro didn't do it for the last movie. They didn't need to. They don't need to now.
