Neither. Have OP and Megs work together only for Megs to get shot up with Sentinel's acid right when they thought he was defeated. Would've made the movie for me
The fight was never going to be as good as the forest battle. Megatron was literally falling apart, and the only way he was able to get a leg up on Sentinel is because he shot him in the back when he was busy. In his condition, Optimus could've taken him with both arms ripped off.
I think so but Megatron is not strong enough to do that, if he is he will use a sword to strike Sentinel not a gun.
Thanks for all the replies. Because of that here is what I think should had happened. After Megatron pins Sentinel to the floor, he begins to bring up the whole truce crap. When Optimus declines and says "Time to find out". He should had said this before saying the line. "Megatron, you are nothing but a ruthless tyrant." A" tyrant who had fallen to the great beyond". "So are you ready, because it's time to find out". Then after killing both Megs and Sentenel, here is what he must say before the speech at the end. "Sorry I did this to you Brother, but I had to do this order to save this planet". "A planet that I and my fellow Autobots brothers now call home". Optimus thens detaches Megatrons head from the axe and lays it on his decapticated body.
That made me lol. One thing I'd like to understand better, and that is, how did Megs end up in the alley. Was standing up on the building making him dizzy, or when Sentinel roughed him up? Did he get injured in the battle of Chicgo?
My guess is that after Sentinel roughed him up, he decided to get as far away from Sentinel as possible.
IMO Optimus wining against The Fallen, Megatron, Sentinel and Megatron again would be too much. While Meg did kill him in ROTF he came back to life. I find that some other Boss other than OP should have survived. I like what I've heard in the comic. As long as It's clear Megatron will return after he rebuilds Cybertron. Also there should be at least a short struggle between Megatron and Sentinel to show that he's not entirely useless.
easy answer....yes ....but the movie was long and it was about Sentinel's and his stab in the back of the Autobots....The Novel has a longer fight but w Prime and Megs vs Sentinel who fights them off for a bit and then...Optimus gets Sentinel's Cosmic Rust Blaster and shoots Sentinel....then can kill Megs and Megs offers the truce. Optimus excepts...This truce is for real thou..and Megs and the cons left will go back to the even more damaged Cybertron and rebuild and call for Optimus and the Autobots and their will be no more Cons and Bots...just Transformers....I hope that is a deleted scene or talked about for the late nov. edition. and the Twins only scene their death by Sentinel.... Til all are one
megs was not falling apart, only half his face was destroyed. He can physically take on OP, but optimus caught megatron by surprise, because if OP tried to take on megatron with one arm no question megatron would have killed optimus. LOL I think you are overrating optimus there, if megs can go from behind and literately rip sentinel apart in 2 minutes, then one armed optimus would have been toast
