I have it. Funny enough, I don't have deluxe Starscream! :lol  But the set looked cool so I grabbed it while getting some other stuff. Already stuck the gatling gun on the roof of my Top Spin custom. Missile packs will likely end up with DOTM Skyhammer. The back turbines will be fun to use either as...well, jet pack bits or as hand blasters (they fit!)

Yes, it's all being used in a very non-Starscream way. But I can at least vouch for the fact that the set is pretty spiffy!

It's late, but I'll rustle up some pics over the weekend.

And just to add to the above--the gatling gun looks AWESOME under Skyhammer's nose in chopper mode. :)

I was the one who originally requested fakebusker to make this awesome looking set, and while I haven't picked it up just yet, he has said that he's planning some revisions with some design changes here and there, most notably by trying to position the parts in rocket booster mode lower on Starscream's back in robot mode. Personally, I'm waiting for v2 (with the updates) before picking them up for my custom DOTM Deluxe Starscreams. =)

Yep, it's been on TFW for weeks. It's an awesome set. Too bad that prices at shapeways are like that of a 3rd party...

I wonder if this kit would work with the Leader Class figure? I wouldn't mind those boosters for his back.

Thrusters? I see no thrusters. Just fancy patterns molded into the back panels there. XD

All joking aside, it's just fun to add or mod an already cool figure (I love the DOTM Deluxe mold almost as much as the HFTD Leader/MP-M01 mold) into something better. And fakebusker's Shapeways sets actually transform too; from rocket boosters to combine into his null ray cannon, and back, and can be stored under the wings in alt mode, which I think is brilliant!

    Ludicrous speed, go!

I can't say for sure since I don't have the set yet, but as long as there's 5mm pegs and holes on both figures, sure, why not? Though the FWI-1 boosters/buzzsaw add-on kit was made specifically for the HFTD Leader/MP-M01 mold, and would probably be a better fit size-wise, I think.

Aw, dammit. Now I have to dig out my Spaceballs DVD. -_- It's like buried in the movie box n' shit.

I remember that set now that you've posted it. I find the thrusters to be somewhat goofy looking. Something about that set just doesn't work for me.

I actually find the thrusters to be really screen accurate as far as the shape and detailed molding goes. The way they peg into the back wings can be fiddly, but I found a very screen accurate position for them on my MP-M01 Starscream just by swapping them on opposite sides and plugging them in at a horizontal rather than at a vertical like the instructions tell you to, and makes the boosters more secure too (and not having them flop around) since they're braced against the tail fin hinges. (Makes me wonder if they were originally designed to be plugged into and positioned on the figure this way, rather than how they have it on the instructions.)

These sets (both fakebusker's Shapeways and the FWI-1) can be pricy, but if you're a hardcore movie Starscream fan, they're well worth it, I think!

And remember, evil will always triumph over good because good is dumb!

Fakebusker's go for $14.50 (before shipping) in Dark Gray which seems to fit 'Screamer. I'm guessing shipping's a bitch?
