Even if it is mistransformed it still looks to be pretty inaccurate in comparison to the ROTF Deluxe. The front of the car ends up on the feet of this one, while on the movie model, that ends up as back kibble. Something the original Deluxe actually got right. Yeah...I'm going to have to actually say that this in fact looks like a step down from the ROTF figure.
this must be mistransformed and strangely. Looks like the chest does a bit more and the legs got an Animated Bumblebee. At the least, the legs seem the most likely wrong. I do dig the look but id like it a darker blue.
reserving judgement til a better transformation shows up. At the very least I'll pick it up to head swap
his back bumber flips behined his head looks like his tires may push in to allow the sholder joints to come forward and sit properly this is miss transformed no doubt about it
I see a good toy and a bad collectible. I agree with those who say they're going for more playability and simpleness in both design and transformation scheme to catch children's attention. The Bayverse collector in me is crying, but I can't blame them for this: when I transformerd leader Prime and voyager Mixmaster for the first time, I honestly wondered how long was it going to last, before they decided those toys were way too complicated for kids. Especially if they want to embrace a wider age spectrum - since I doubt even younger kids find FAB when they can compare them to the deluxes and voyagers haning from the nearby pegs... But I remain optimistic, since I think Hasbro will find a way to make both, kinds and fans, happy- and anyways, from time to time i'ts not bad having a toyish transformers in your hands...it sooths the frustration some more complicated figures can give.
As usual, waiting to see if some more pictures pop up with a better transformation. Kind of strange how they went with this head mold though, the ROTF toy's head wasn't accurate to the cgi model.
Ummm...NO. Looks like a Legends class at Deluxe scale. So far, DOTM toys seem like childish garbage. A huge step back from the intricate Movie Toys we have gotten so far. It reminds me of the transition from RID to Armada...aka a kick in the nuts.
Miss Transformed Maybe the reason why these toys are miss transformed is so that we can't get any good details of the final product?!?!?!?
More likely is the person who made the picture has yet to figure out what the correct transformation is, since he/she doesn't have the instructions. And I believe sometimes the people who take pictures like this are factory workers doing it for others, and are not interested in Transformers themselves - not really strange why that person wouldn't be able to get it right.
Getting a figure into a good pose/TF is one thing, but come on...these DOTM toys are a huge step backwards in almost every way so far.
DOTM Ironhide > ROTF Ironhide DOTM Dread looks awesome DOTM human alliance buggy is a very cool step forward DOTM starscream is not as good as my leader class, but looks good for a deluxe class DOTM Megatron looks like the best megatron, with the coolest transformation yet DOTM Shockwave is AWESOME now we have a DOTM Jolt who is miss transformed. And to be honest, i doubt he can actually be any worse than ROTF Jolt, who WAS a piece of junk. So we aren't really taking a step back. Just complaining really loudly.
