I want this guy. Looks awesome next to barricade. I love police-car bots. Specially police SUVs

 

Got mine today, and as I cut him out of his plastic prison I held my breath in abatement.... His middle finger had remained unclipped! I let out a huge sigh of relief, my Crankcase would be flipping the bird to Autobots all day.  

Great figure, not a bad add as far as new Decepticons go, the giant pincers are kinda lame and I do my best to hide them in both alt and bot forms, my main gripe is the restricted leg movement because of the SUV roof attached to his back. It's hard to give him a decent pose which doesn't involve squatting in some manner.

 

i like how this guy looks. Too small for my voyager Ironhide, but he'd look good enough fighting against Brawn i guess.

and, i'll probably get the new deluxe barricade to go with him, since i sold my rotf one.

 

So we've got a guy in Canada and a guy in Australia finding unclipped fingers at retail, while (at least) 2 American customers have found clipped fingers. I'm guessing this was a running change and the clip will be more common, but I wish that wasn't the case

 

So I feel like a complete idiot for not knowing I had to clip his pelvis into place to stop his legs clashing with the SUV roof, now his legs move completely free and he has awesome pose-ability.


Really digging this guy even more so for it, as with Mixmaster I like how you can give him that armoured sort of look and I even found a decent use for those annoying pincers, making them sorta of look like shoulder spikes.

I bought him along with Megs and BB and he was actually the one I was on the fence most about, but since there was only one Crankcase fresh off the pallet I thought I better get him while I had the chance, so glad I did.

 

Any chance of someone posting comparison photos of him with various Rotf and Dotm Deluxes in bot mode?

 

We're sure theres gonna be more than one of them in the movie, right? Would hate to buy a bunch only to find that thats not the case.

 

^ Weren't they filming at least three at one point? Also, you can see two of them smashing into Ironhide in the trailers.

 

Got him yesterday, and he's awesome. Really liking the simple transformation, and his mechtech weapon.

Mine had the clipped fingers, in case anyone was wondering. I may end up trying to sharpen them.

 

the Japanese version will probably have unclipped fingers... maybe I could buy a Japanese one and 2 clipped ones, have him be the captain

 

So I've been talking to a few other local collectors down here on some Aussie forums and pretty much everybody who has bought Crankcase so far is reporting his finger has not been clipped. Perhaps it's a US thing? Or the clipping was a last minute decision and the stock had already been sent down here? Very odd....

I never think I will open he that early...but since the cut off finger problem, I just open it for double check...Dmn~! it really lost his finger...but after all, he is a cool thing, in good shape with vehicle mode,and always make me feel...that is really the MIB's car...
in robot mode, his head really make me feel Predators!!!!Even the weapon really funny, and can't hold it in FULL OPEN mode unless do something, but at least, it have a good posable level.

Got mine today. Like him (although he is small). The finger clipping is a little poor. If we get reports that certain chains got em without the clipping, I may pick up a second one. Would have been great as a Voyager, but he is pretty tough looking. The dreads on him actually work pretty damn well, and as much as I was against the Mech-tech stuff, it actually does not look goofy on him in either mode.

 

Is this the first report of a non-American getting the clipped hands?

 

Nice pics! He's the only one I'm missing from the Deluxes (only collecting Decepticons). Can't wait to get him.

BTW: xterry lives in California I believe.

 

They probably gave him a nail clip because it kinda looks like he's flicking you off.

That fig has a great stance and prescense
