I know "Doombringer" is a bit much but I like it. I based them off of this trio from "The Ultimate Doom" for reference. The "Half a torso squad" Their names (Left to Right) Stratosphere, Exosphere and Troposphere (Credit to Jacob McBaggins in the TFWiki Discord server for the names) I hate to choose favorites but Purple is definitely the best color for this mold... No alt mode shot because I don't have the desk space to hold them all, lmao. I was gonna post character bios and stories about each of them but I'll keep is short: Troposphere: An egotistical maniac, Troposphere was originally built as a geologist with the task to quietly observe planets topography and draw maps of the universe, he discovered an atmospheric layer of oxygen capable of causing rust to form, so he decided to name it after himself. Troposphere earned his rank in the Doombringers when his squadron was killed by an Autobot patrol, he then used guerrilla combat tactics to kill them all and take the planet back for the Decepticon cause. Shortly after, he attempted to assassinate Starscream to take command over the seeker armies, his attempt failed and he was left badly damaged, instead of execution, Shockwave had convinced Starscream to keep him alive in order to test a new device. Troposphere was repaired to find a bomb attached to his spark casing and a "C.L.A.W." attached to his spark, if he refused orders the C.L.A.W. would grip his spark causing him to slowly die until he complied, if he were to attack a fellow Decepticon intentionally, the bomb would go off, killing him. He now serves as a Doombringer on Cybertron, overseeing the guard patrols of Shockwaves Kaon laboratory. Exosphere: A germaphobe, Exosphere was originally built to function in high orbit over Cybertron to conduct surveillance operations, he possesses an extreme fear of rust and refuses to travel to any planets that contain a high concentration of Oxygen in their atmosphere. Exosphere earned his rank in the Doombringers after he constructed a compact orbital cannon, the hand held weapon is able to decimate Autobot outposts in a single shot. His reward for his new found weapon creating talent was his own laboratory and sanctuary in Kaon. He now works along side Shockwave as both a laboratory guard and experimental weapons creator. Stratosphere: According to Barricade, Stratosphere is the most boring Decepticon ever, he was built as a MTO soldier during the war and has fought in many successful battles. Stratosphere had earned himself a promotion to a battalion commander with authority over several Decepticon warships, as his squadrons won more and more victories for the Decepticon cause Stratosphere grew increasingly bored with his new job and sought a transfer, he was encouraged by Hotlink to inquire about the "Doombringer" squadron, he was given "Squad Commander" the instant he applied because Barricade found him to be "The only sane applicant". Stratosphere now serves under Shockwave as the defense co-ordinator of his Kaon laboratory.
Did you use Starscream as the base for these, or the Welcoming Committee 3-pack? Either way they look really nice!
Very nice work. Super clean. Did you repaint the Rainmakers in the groupshot or go crazy town cleaning them? It has been very hard cleaning mine.
Oh HELL yeah! Hotlink, Acid Storm and Thundercracker!! I kid, I kid. Nice job on the paint - though Troposphere looks a little bit patchy. Colour's a little uneven, at least in my eyes.

yeah no, not gonna mess with primer, last time I used it it seeped into the joints and caused some serious lockup issues, even when I had the figure taken apart.
