I'd like to see him talk, at least a little bit. Call me crazy, but I thought the voice at the end of the first film suited him. The toy bio indicates that his voice has not fully recovered, so maybe he'll retain some of his talking through the radio charm for this one?

 

I bet he'll keep talking more and more throughout the movie as his voice recovers. Eventually he'll have an entire conversation without the radio.

 

I'd like him to talk without the radio. I'd find it strange if they could reattach his legs (and the Decepticons could resurrect Megatron and Blackout), yet his voicebox couldn't be repaired.

I'm running on a theory that there's some mass conspiracy against me that claims Bumblebee sounds British.

That, or I'm going through a serious case of crazy, because his voice is not close to a British accent in my head.

I'd like combo-speak overall. The radio thing was charming, and I think he should get his voice back. It works.

 

I'm confident we'll get both - I noted in the Showest footage that when he 'speaks' to Sam, everything except the last word ("Sam") is made of radio clips. He speaks that last word himself (same voice as in TF1, and his mouthpiece moves).

 

Maybe he just continues to do it to be endearing?

i prefer him to talk through the radio with mixed radio dialogue and music because not only did I not like his voice at the end of the movie but BB has a certain type of charm or "cuteness" for lack of a better term which makes his character very likeable

It is kind of like those dogs that appear in movies as supporting roles. You know they have a big role in it even though they don't speak and you treat them like a normal character and feel for them and the fact that he cannot speak and has to emote through his eyes and with groaning noises, makes you connect with him more

Absolutely NOT!!!  His voice is too cheesy. If he were to talk, kids will like him too much instead of the other cooler characters.

 

Yeah his voice at the end made him sound "older". I know he is an ancient robot and all, but with his antics and being Sam's buddy, I'd expect him to sound younger. I liked (accepted) everyone elses voices, but his just felt out of character.

He actually sounds better when he is straining. Like in part one when he gives Sam the cube and tells him to "Goooooo..." and in the new trailer when he says "Sam".

 

Excuse me, but a British Ironhide is lame? It made him even more badass.

 

Some Brits can be very scary and violent.
