ok now it is cold and we are still going to school. Is my school district the only one that hasn't canceled classes yet?
Ah, now we're dipping into the weather you'd expect from winter. 20 degrees, no school tomorrow, and a snow warning.
im getting -30 right now mid-day in the open with windchill where i live. YAY!!! Thank goodness for blankets!!
I want some snow here to take this Snow Cat...I mean Wolf Hound to get pictures...damn it..........but not too much snow too bad you folks in Chicago can't send me some snow here in North MS....LOLZ
No fireplace, I wish though! I live in an apartment complex on top, 3rd floor on the end so I get wind from all three sides lol. and the heat here sucks but atleast it works. So I cant complain to much! But its been 3 days almost and the plows have yet to reach my parking lots or street. They cant seem to figure it out. I even called the front office to the apartments and they are confused and dont know what to do. I dont care what they do but I need my fucking car period. Its a fire, health and police issue. If someone got hurt or something no one can come in here.
If I were you, I'd call the people who plow the streets and pester them enough times so that they can get to you. Hey, it worked with me and AEP. Stay warm.
Looks like the Super Bowl's gonna be a mess with so much snow in the area. I wonder if there'll be people unable to make it there because of it?
^^^ Just watching the news, they're saying tons of flights have been canceled, so it may be interesting to see how many folks show up for the SB.

I was shocked when I went out today. Almost all the roads in town were clear. Not bad considerign how bad we got hit.
I hate freaking February! It was nice and sunny yesterday, and it dropped last night to 4 degrees with windchills bringing it down to -14 and blowing snow. As our driveway goes downhill to our garage, we get a lot of snow-drifts just pilling up snow right in front of the doors. The top part of the driveway is usually fine. But man, I just cleared the walkway yesterday morning for our maid and I have to do it again today! This weather freaking sucks! But hopefully it should be warming up again this week and we should have sunny and warm weekend ahead of us. Should be back up in the 50's. Hopefully most of the snow will have melted by then. I'm starting to wish we could get a second home in Florida for the winter time. I love Colorado in the summer, but damn, this arctic cold really sucks!
