It honestly works for most egg styles. I use it most often when cooking eggs for my unit. I am an expert at making non-shitty eggs in the Army for 300+ people at a time.

As far as ketchup? If you do the eggs right, they don't NEED ketchup.

My ideal breakfast is to fry up corned beef hash, and RIGHT as it's starting to crisp up, pour in my pre-scrambled raw eggs with a little milk and seasoning in them and then I cook the entire batch. Sooooo good.
