http://www.comicbookresources.com/columns/?column=13 I found this link today. Its Don's new IDW project. Looks like Don got bit by the zombie bug.
Part of me wants to buy it just to support Don while another part of me wants to leave it on the shelf to NOT support IDW not keeping Don on the TF books. Decisions.
While DOn isn't the be all to end all transformers artist for me, its good to see him draw other stuff, I hope it goes well and continues to develop his style.
I'll await till I see it coloured before deciding. However it is good that he's allowed to do something different other that giant robots beating each other up.
The link on the first post takes you to the current column. Here is a link to the archive: http://www.comicbookresources.com/columns/index.cgi?column=litg&article=2980 I am a big fan of zombie movies, but not so much zombie comics. I'm gonna check this out to see what Don is up to, though.
Or Living With Zombies. A couple local guys wrote it. It has 6-7 issues out so far. It is written by Matt Billman and Chris Herndon. Matt is the writer and did draw a few issues. Chris became the main artist. But Chris moved and couldn't get around to drawing the comics. Matt is to nice of a guy to dump Chris so it has been on hiatus for a while. well Chris recently told Billman he was out of the project. Anyway it is hilarious! It is set in my home town of Evansville, IN and even my comic book guy, Matt Hawes, is in it. I picked up the TPB of it today. I got all the comics and thee TPB now. It is violent and humorous.
