How much money do you think Transformers 4 will make at the domestic box office?

I say 290 million.

 

I think it'll be somewhere in the $300-350 million range, but I'm hoping it'll do more than that.

 

Woops, thought this was for opening weekend. I voted 150-200 by accident, I'll say 300-350

 

It'll clear $300m easy. I voted for $350-400m.

Also, it's "prediction."

 

Me too, it will probably make as much as Dark of the Moon.

I voted for $300 to $350 million.

 

It's gonna be close to 400 million domestic. But it's going to get huge numbers in China considering how involved they were with the filming. I say worldwide it grosses around 1.5 billion

 

Here's one thing I can predict with 100% confidence:

If it makes too little: "proof Bay sucks"
If it makes lots: "proof the general public are morons"

It's been like that since '07...

 

I'm going to follow the numbers trend and guess between $250 and $300. Just too much franchise fatigue so I don't see the domestic numbers cracking $300.

Of course I could be wrong since the Amazing Spiderman 2 hasn't cracked $200 million domestically yet, so the US market seems willing to turn away from films. Plus it's a year when there is some stiff competition for top action film so it's not like the years when it was just a given because the other summer films were weak. I'm just not sure if people will be as quick to rush out to see it if it doesn't bring the A game other summer films have brought out so far.

Godzilla was very good but had has awful word of mouth.

X-Men: DOFP was good but is going to gross less than X3 in the US.

ASM2 is basically a giant dud and already forgotten.

I have no idea what A game you are talking about.

I think it will earn all the money in the world! literally every penny. And bay will be master of the universe..

Now 290 mill. as the the first day of it's release? 290 is a bit short, I voted 350 and above.

 

Marky mark will definitely bring his fans. He has way more fans than Shia, if he has that much to begin with.

No one cares about X-Men movies except for comic book fans.

People love Spider-Man and think that the new film was at least "good".

And by looking at Captain America, Spider-Man, and several other recent action films, its more accurate to predict that it will gross from $290 to $350. Action films of today are barely bringing in that much money.

 

350 million to 400 million. I think that the movies' earnings in America will stay around the same as DOTM, but will increase slightly. The slight increase might be due to the new human cast, with a little bit due to the new robot cast. But overseas, it will make a killing. In total, I'd say at least 1.3 billion dollars.
