Is it me or Does wfc megatron look almost identical to tfp megatron and his personalitys match both versions of megs tell me your thoughts and ideas
They're both very loosely based on the same Megatron, just like nearly any Megatron that's grey and has a big-ass cannon on his arm. These two aren't inherently the same Megatron though as WFC/FOC was meant to be a loose starting point (my source being the games' creators) for all of the universes we know and love. Including Beast Wars and whatnot. It was never meant to be a strict tie-in to Prime alone. But like Darker said, we have Hasbro to thank for the very confusing concept that is the aligned continuity.
Well, they are officially supposed to be the same Megatron. We all know that the various pieces of Aligned fit ... imperfectly, but that was Hasbro's intent.
Not even a little. The only similarities design wise are because they are both based on G1 Megatron, and even then WFC is incredibly liberal. And then there are the personality differences, where Prime Megatron is more your average ruthless but smart villain...while WFC is the single most over the top, hamtastic, delightfully diabolically evil saturday morning cartoon villain that I have ever seen.
