Does Ultra Magnus hold the Matrix of Leadership?

    ..... After all, he is the leader, and it wouldn't be the first time he's had it. It would also explain why Prime's charge is called the AllSpark. Perhaps if Ultra Magnus is fatally wounded while battling Megatron, he'll give the Matrix to Prime on his death bed.

    No, there's no matrix in animated as far as I can see, other than the design of the Allspark being a homage to it.

    The TF multiverse is based on the concept that Primus exists uniquely in every universe in some form, Unicron exists in one form and travels the multiverse.

    This means Primus will exist in each universe in a different capacity, most likley as a defense mechanism. We have been USED TO the Matrix as a way to protect the power of Primus. TF the movie Introduced, "what if instread of Being Cybertron, He made himself into the Allspark that gave Life to cybertron?"

    TF animated does not (at this time as we know of) have a Matrix of Leadership. The power struggle for this version of the TF race did not end up with a single leader passing on the wisdom of the race. The ALLSPARK is the power of Primus now, and instead of Keeping it, they abandon it as no one in their race can be trusted with it.

    So no Matrix in Animated... Primus = Jesus Cube
