Hey, I've been trying to get in contact with Transrepro. (www.transrepro.com) I sent them an e-mail a few days back and never received a response. If I remember correctly, KCC is the guy to talk to, but I haven't heard back from him via e-mail. It also shows that his last activity here on the boards was in December of '05. Anybody know if he's closed up shop or what?
I've heard of many people having problems right now trying to reach them. There's been as many rumors confirming the health issues as there have been denouncing them.
Geez. He just can't catch a break, poor guy. ....I hope his recovery is a quick one. I sure hope there's no permanent damage. Usually a second stroke is a severely dangerous affliction. I wish him and his family the best.
I've been waiting for my order since September last year. Someone should at least keep his customers informed.
It's probably at the stage now that the business shouldn't be continued unless there are some fairly prominent "don't be surprised if you never hear back" disclaimers on sales. That's just being realistic. Best wishes to the guy and his family, anyway.
That is very unfortunate. Is there any way that we can find out about his current condition? On the Transrepro front, he did have someone stand in for him, and help him last time.
Regardless of wether or not there was a Transrepro in the past, or will be one in the future. I hope he's okay. :-(
Well hell. If the poor dude is recovering from a stroke, I can wait on trying to get any parts from transrepro as long as necessary - hell, I can go without them. I'd much rather hope that KCC recovers and reaches a point where he feels healthy again.
Hells yeah. There is some stuff I'd like to get from him (though I am glad I was able to hook him up w/ some stuff while healthy) but I'd much rather Ken get better than worry about the future of the repro parts.
Yes, Ken's stuff is among the best. Transrepro was also a part of his therapy from his first stroke. It was good to have something to focus on to help bring back his mental, and motor skills. So, it's not bad for people to mention his products, or even wanting them. It's a tribut to how good his repro pieces really are. Get well soon Ken! I think we should set up a tribute thread, showcasing some of the items he's made for people.
Ken may want to consider finding an assistant of some sort to help him handle transrepro. I do hope his health improves though
