Was it just me, or did the Star Saber seems a little different?

I swear it was:
-Slightly more shiny
-Had a more intense blue glow
-Did this weird click thing right before he released a smaller, more intense(?) blast from the sword.

 

Must be side-effects of the Forge's repair.

 

This, seems legit.

Though (and this is unlikely), I'd prefer it if Optimus added the Matrix to it as Prima had done when he held it, resulting in a slightly different appearance.

 

And quite possibly the Forge returned it to it's proper working order, which it may not have been in before since it was buried.

 

That would be cool, but I suppose after the last time the Saber was in combat, Prime wouldn't want to risk the Matrix as well, so to speak.

Indeed. After so long buried, the Saber is restored to its former glory by the Forge. Awesome.

 

Adding to this, perhaps since Optimus himself repaired it, it's more in tune with him rather than whoever it was first made for? So it seems different than before?

yeah it did seem alot more tuned up and fresh.

 

The last thing Optimus needs to do with the sword is sever Megatron's arms. If he never used it after that I would be satisfied.

First faces and now arms?!? Is prime salvaging parts for MECH?!?  

 

No. We just miss good old arm cutting off.

The sword was damn shiny indeed. Prime mentioned that there's a bit of skill needed to create/forge things to your desire, so I'd like to think he spruced up the saber either to full power or more to its liking. Wish we got an explanation on why the sword shattered like that in the first place, but it 'being in a weakened state' since being sealed worked for me!

Now...the bigger question. Why not forge the hell out of anything else. bring tons of weapons to cybertron?
