I noticed the intro was changed for the season 1 finale. The kids are absent from the intro. Their parts have been taken out. I don't think any of the kids are going to die, but could one of the bots they interact with bite the dust? The part with the kids stepping into or onto the bots in vehicle mode is mysteriously absent.

 

Doubt it. Probably just to make the intro shorter.

 

It was just to make more room for the "previously on" segment. Means nothing creatively. We won't get the intro change for actual story reasons until Ratchet (calling it right now, bitches) bites the dust.

Yeah, Megatron being dead would be cool. Maybe the Autobots then had to deal with splinter factions following his demise and the fight for Decepticon Leadership.

No. They just cut it short to give us more action. Plus it still features every nonhuman character as it did before, and if you think they'd ACTUALLY KILL one of the kids, well you're crazy. And in case you say "But they almost killed Raf!", remember they almost killed him. If a parent were watching this show with their six-year-old child, and their child saw another kid DIE, it would be horribly impacting on the child, and the parents would be in an OUTRAGE. Heck, people were in an outrage when one curse word slipped out (on a PG rated show), I can't imagine what would happen if a kid died. If you really want to see people die in a TV show though, watch House. People die all the time on that show. And stuff.

 

I'm wondering if the scene with the kids was deleted because the kids are going to be separated from the bots. You have Miko screaming "never" in one scene with a very plain-faced Fowler. You have an angry June who feels the kids shouldn't be hanging out with the bots. Could June alert the government to the kids presence among the Autobots if they already don't know. Could the government send agents in to storm the base and take the kids away or even the bots? Even if the government does know about the kids, June did threaten to tell Raf's family about his hanging out with the bots. Perhaps the government gets word of this, and not wanting the world to know, decided to storm the base, catch the bots off guard, use weapons like what MECH has, subdue the bots, and take them away to some secret facility? Miko gets angry at the agents taking her beloved Bulkhead away and screams "never"? Well we'll know shortly.

 

Unlikely, we already know Josh Keaton is recording lines for Jack Darby weeeell into season two. They wouldn't remove the kids from the show, it removes the human element. The only reason it worked in Beast Wars was because the characters were amazing. Then Beast Machines came along, changed the things about characters that everyone loved, and it wasn't too successful anymore. In Prime... well, Arcee, Starscream, Knock Out, and a few others are the only "real" characters, the ones developed beyond "I FILL ROLE X IN THIS SHOW! BUY MY TOY!"

 

Well the kids could be reunited with the bots in Season 2.
