hahaha that's totally me too! but my wife rarely goes in my toy room, but the figures do shift on occasion. One thing I also do when I setup my display it to shake my bookcase a little after each figure, and see who wobbles. If they wobble, I reposition them so they don't topple later and take out a bunch of other figures...

but as far as people fucking with my collection, ask ORIO and EMTRatchet about my Battle Beast collection... they like to grab 3 or 4 at a time, and hide them in various places all over my house... like the top of the fridge, the bookshelf in the living room, door frames, etc... i HATE it...

I have OCD for some things, including some aspects of Transformers collecting. I display most of my figures in certain groups (that is, groups of them being on different shelves or sections of shelves, and being selected by sub-group, like the Wreckers or the Seekers), and it bothers me if they're not all in the same mode. I alternate between robot and vehicle mode (with many displays), but I can't have some figures in a display in robot mode and some in vehicle mode, unless the display is depicting something like a fight scene.

That's so funny that Orio does that to you. I'm also versed in the shaking of the bookcase, i did it last week with MP roddy to make sure he doesn't fly off my shelf.

I have my TFs "organized" into an epic battle scene sprawling all over my entertainment center, desk(s), and table.

    So, no.

It's a fun game. He just doesn't think so.

I notice when something is ...off too. I'll come home and Legends Brawn will all of a sudden be in vehicle mode. (My step daughter likes Brawn because she can Transform him easily) That's pretty noticeable but I'll notice that shit out of the corner of my eye.

This wouldn't happen if most transformer collectors starting posing there figures having an all out war with each other instead of standing front in center (BORRING), i feel like the only TF collector that does that.

i dont think it can cause ocd. ocd is either in you or not. it might be able to help trigger it or be the recipient of it. i have to say i think most toy collectors probably has some sort of ocd in the first place.

I remember once a buddy came to borrow something while I wasn't here, and when I got home my Classics Cyclonus was in my bed laying next to a C. Viper figurine (for those not familiar with Street Fighter, she's from SF). Got home and was like, "WTF...who did thi....ohhhhhh Paul you scallywag you." Funny stuff. So yeah, pretty OCD about my stuff being moved around.

I think some people use the term OCD a little too freely around here. I would hardly call being organized OCD.

I wouldn't call it OCD - more like "How can I re-arrange that shelf so I can squeeze in even more figures?" :lol
After you've re-arranged that shelf for the 10th time, Now that's what you'd call OCD... :lol

I'm very particular about all the figures in my room.

Everything is posed and in a specific location.

They are also classified by series (example all Classics are on my dresser).

All my DCUC figures are on the top of the bureau.

Save for Batman Legacy (first shelf of tv stand).

Then my three door closet top shelf BW, Armada, Energon, DBZ.

Behind the far left door on a 5 tier shelf is IM2, PR, SW, ROTF, Animated.

The middle also has 5 shelves with Titanium, RID, Cybertron, Movie 1.

Nothing behind the door to the far right. Maybe if I get more shelves.

Inside the bureau on the top shelf is my Gundams (MG Wing Zero, 1/100 Nataku).

Below that on the left is MP Grimlock & G2 Heroes Optimus plus Megatron.

In the middle is DBZ movie collections Vegeta & Broli.

To the far right is MP Optimus in front is G1 Bumblebee & Gears.

RTS Lugnut along with DOTM Megatron and Shockwave are on the computer stand.

Three wall shelves with WFC Optimus, Megatron, Soundwave, Cliffjumper, Grimstone, and Legends Megatron.

Sorry about the long post I just can't stand cluttered sentences.

I'm actually very apathetic to it all. My shelves are pretty messy...

    Well this.

Also, it's not OCD. It's an attention to detail, and as long as I'm not bathing my figures 50 times a day in Preceptor's new secret inhibitor to keep them free of cosmic rust, I think I'll be alright.

Not really. Every time I dust the shelf, I always put my TFs back in a different place. I like to change things up a bit.
