Takara Tomy's decision to cancel BT-17 Ginrai and BTA-4 Black Convoy seems to indicate a reluctance to further the Binaltech Line.

As we know BT Black Widow, the BT counterpart of Decepticharge has been in postponement for months.

With that news of 2 cancellations of the Dodge Ram mold and no news from Takara it is becoming unlikely we will see BT Black Widow to be released

Here's waiting for Phazer to insist she's just delayed for a year or two.

I think its safe to say that when Takara doesn't even release the Optimus Prime/Convoy/Ginari of a given line then its thoroughly dead as far as they're concerned.

OTOH that doesn't actaully mean that Takara/Tomy won't be involved in the development of futher Alternators, as Hasbro has contracted out sculpting for non-Takara release lines to Takara before.
