Or is it through radio again
He has a few lines through his normal voice!
Both, he uses the radio ALOT but he said a few lines with his muffled voice.
As explained in the first movie - he chooses to dick around with the radio as he spoke in his normal voice at the end of the first film. As for AOE its mostly radio
I didn't know it was explained? Must have missed it.
But Bee dicking around with the radio adds more to his character!
It was explained in the second film, when Bee was in the Barn Mikaela asked "is he still having voice problems" and sam says something like "no, he's just playing it off"
nah.. it detracts from his character.. A LOT.. there's no connection there because there's no voice.
it's a shame really.
Sigh... At least he has a few lines with his normal voice... But I would much prefer him to always just talk normal and I'm guessing most people will agree with me on that.
At the end of the first film he is given his voice back and says 'I wish to stay with the boy' during the second film Sam says that his voice is fixed and that he plays it up.
It actually lessens the audiences connection with the character as he's only communicating via words used by others. Their is a massive divide between the audience and the character because we can never connect with the character due to his gimmick. He never has conversations with the Autobots due to this, we never hear get to hear Bumblebee connect with Sam for example as it never feels like he is the one saying anything.
Tell me for example - from the films alone... what do we actually learn about Bumblebee's character from his 'dialogue' None of his lines are memorable as they've all been said by someone else and none of them can be connected mentally to that character. While a gimmick can develop a variation to a character - it only works when we know stuff about him. At the moment (from the first trilogy) all we learn is that he cares for humans and dicks around.
Their is a difference between someone telling you something personally and someone communicating via what someone else has said. Not to mention it makes the 'character' seem like he's never actually caring or evolving. He's just a childish character fucking around with playing with sound clips - he'll never be anything more than that until he starts talking normally.
I had no idea Sam said that. Interesting.
I have to disagree. It shows his ability to stand out in a good way as a character.
Actually, Bee chooses the words he wants to say, or "play" through the radio. So technically, we can still gather his character from the words he plays through his radio.
Forget Bee, do the Dinos talk? I haven't seen any cast announcements for Grimlock (actually nor for bee)
Can Bee really talk? Did Ratchet fix his voice?...
its almost as if hes just starting to gain his real voice back and coming out of a bad case of laryngitis lol.
no on ratchet.
Throughout the movies, I seem to remember Ratchet fixing nothing but two things. Jack, and Shit.. and Jacks left town!
Is it Mark Ryan who voices him again? Same voice actor from 07?
Lol you're really stuck on this, arent you? It's way too hard to tell, its muffled... sounds just like his robotic moans.
