Rally cars have I missed something? I know about the Nascar trio but their far from being anything rally like.
I'm sticking with them being decepticons...And I think its just wishful thinking for all us fans who want themm to be named after and resemble G1 characters. Honestly they're probably going to be completely new characters, they might be named after characters from transformer lore, but they probably won't resemble or act like them...I think we got to accept that this is a different transformers universe...
I wouldn't put it past Bay to turn Impactor and Co into racing cars. Maybe he can turn them into Latino stereotypes this time around! Oh, I'm sure he'll figure something out.
yeah, that was jessecuster from the illinois sightings thread (friend of mine) though he posted this information on the nascar thread in here somewhere. the reason he knew was because he got a personal visit on the set for an hour. he wasn't allowed pictures but he did walk around up close. he asked about the cars and one of the dudes replied saying they were the wreckers. either A it's false information from the crew to misinform (incept!) or he unintentionally blurted it out and probably played it off hoping he (jessecuster) wouldn't catch on. we'll see sooner or later i guess.
I hate to say this, but those Chevy race cars are probably wreckers, and I'm saying this because from the filming it didn't seem like they were chasing BB, but rather following him. I still will be looking for information that proves me wrong because the look on those cars are lethal, and if they are on the Autobot side...well I don't right now.
Possibly, but I am unsure what names they may bear. Nothing comes to mind, but seriously, the Wrecker's are a huge group, and a LOT of characters can join them if they've got the mad tight skills.
I am seriously starting to think they are michael bays version of the dinobots. why hasnt anyone put that into the speculation box?! If wheeljack is in it, then its possible especially if he is made out to be a scientist kind of bot. I think itd be cool. and with that footage of them being chased by the autobots would make sense because the dinobots never listen well and go off on their own wreaking havoc.
I said it once, and no one responded. What if, Prime doesn't have Roller, but has Rollers! Maybe these cars are Rollers? Just think about it.
I'll say what I've said before in another thread, why does is everyone see the necessity for them to be labelled as a certain group from previous Transformers history just because they have similar feeatures in common? In the movieverse there may well just be Autobots and Decepticons. Yes, there are the Seekers too, but that actually comes across as a job title rather than a sub-faction, and they were meant to be the pre-Decepticons from what I can gather in the muddled movieverse history. Certainly these three NASCARS work together as a group but there's no more reason why they have to be 'Wreckers'/'Dynobots'/'Battlechargers'/'Whatevericons' than for officially calling Skids and Mudlap the 'Spasbots' or Arcee, Chromia and Elita-1 the 'Clungebots'..... and they operated as groups with similar alt modes and aesthetics, didn't they?
