I still love my Gamecube and stroke its buttons regularly, the 360 is here along with the Wii but neither has stolen my affection as of yet.

Oh ivory cube I love you so, I know our days are numbered so until then let the stroking continue.

I never worshiped it but it's still a great system though. Sold mine off for 80 hambones and play all my GC stuff on my Wii.

I think about playing Twin Snakes on it a lot, then remember how shitty it is and don't bother.

We still play F-Zero GX, Sonic Adventure 2 and Zelda Wind Waker on our Wii almost daily.

Agreed, but my system is still sitting there and I have been wanting to give Wind Waker a second go. I really really liked that game.

I often use it when I am at home and I want to play a GBA game (GameBoy Player).

I agree that Wind Waker was a good game and the cell shading was simply breathtaking.. I've finished it twice and still find myself eager to play it again :)

For those that haven't played it yet, Mega Man Transmission is a great game too! I've bought more GC games now than I have in the past, when I actually owned the GC machine (I own a wii now)

I have the desire to play Wind Waker again, and actually try and progress through Twilight Princess.

But then look at the other games I have and play them.

Now that there's a Wii in the apartment, my GameCube is now a dedicated GBA player.

Never had a GC, but I have a Wii. I've been thinking about getting some of the GC titles I missed out on, but what are the best GC games to own? Windwaker is a given, along with Resident Evil remake and RE4. What other games do I need to get my greedy hands on? :)

I don't have the Gamecube system anymore, but I kept everything else (games, controllers, memory card) for the Wii.

My Gamecube got a ton of mileage, mainly from Super Smash Bros Melee. Great fighting game with a ton of depth.

Tales of Symphonia also took up a lot of time on the GC. I had about 99 hours logged before the memory card got corrupted.

I don't how many times I've played through the first Metroid Prime. The game is a masterpiece.

There are still quite a few GC titles I want to play, but I play them on my Wii now for the sharper graphics.

RE0 aint bad either, and there's the Gem of a game in Eternal Darkness as well.Soul Caliber 2 (it has Link in it) isn't a bad idea, or Mario Baseball, Rebel Strike (rogue leader 3).. and honestly, Luigi's Mansion is pretty fun even if it is a bit on the short side.
