    Sorry if this should be common knowledge by now, but what happened with this concept art?

    Why did they throw that away? Why is Soundwave only in space now?

    the script probaly changed so the truck concept was dropp ed and that soundwave was modified

    I don't know, but Soundwave would be awesome if he came to Earth and caused a little mayhem. I hope he at least transforms at one point.

    maybe he doesnt want to insult his cybertron heritage so he doesnt change alt modes. or like megs he just doesnt care.

    I wouldn't mind them just releasing a toy of that design anyway even if he doesn't scan an earth mode in the movie.

    Maybe they designed the toy with that in mind, even though he'll end up staying in Cybertron Mode apparently.

    But we still got the 3rd movie. They could stay with the same design or change it to some other Earth Mode if they decide to go that way with the character. I think they have to at some point.

    i bet you he won't. they spoke earlier about hasbro having to modify him to fit their needs for a toy.. iwouldn't be surprised if that modification was to add a bot mode!
