I haven't heard either way if we may see new Transformers at NYCC this year. We did last year. Well I am going Fri-Sun.

I hope they will! They still have to officially announce Titans Return Deluxe Breakaway, Triggerhappy and Twinferno!

I couldn't find anything transformers related on the nycc website when I looked yesterday but Hasbro are definitely there promoting star wars at the very least.

I guess they would repeat the same technique they used at SDCC
I mean, although they wouldn't have a panel, they could display some Transformers toys in the event

"Will this massive toy company be at an event that promotes these kinds of things?"

With a new Star Wars movie coming out in 3 months , PLUS , a new Transformers movie on the Horizon , unless Hasbro's ran by fools , there's no reason for them not to be there .

it's a fair question, USUALLY we will have advance notice if they are having a panel (which is where they usually show off new wares)

With the big British licensing expo happening shortly and Hasbro already announced to have a large presence at that, much like the China con from this summer post-SDCC, we may get a smaller display this time.

I'm hoping they are cause I definitely want to see them unveil Doublecross, Triggerhappy, & Getaway but if they don't... well I at least have RWBY to look forward too

The AoE reveal was on 2013, I hope that this year we get a first look to The Last Knight toys.

I've gone to NYCC every year since its inception and its really disheartening to see Hasbro mostly pulling out of the show. With the show starting tomorrow its unlikely that they'll be adding a panel for Transformers. Assuming the exhibitor search function on the NYCC website is not broken it looks like they aren't even exhibiting. IDW has a Revolution panel but not a specific TF one as they've done in the past. I think last year they did TF, Joe and MLP all together so I guess the Hasbro properties will all be there. No animation panel either thought that isn't surprising since I doubt they have much to say on that topic. Last year we got the Combiner Wars Machimina panel and they even brought the main RID voice cast previously. I only hope this means they have something huge planned to replace Botcon next year and are diverting the marketing funds there.

On the bright side Alex Milne, Andrew Grifith and Livio Ramondelli are listed as having booths in artist alley.

Like others have said here I think they would do something similar to this year's SDCC and just show a preview of future TF toys on display. Hopefully that's where we'll get our major first look at some Last Knight figures.

Unless you saw AOE in theaters this year, that reveal was three years ago. :)
