Does anyone here know how well Regeneration one sales did back then?

    And If it did well then maybe IDW could have kept Transformers ?

    What does everyone think and how come ?

    Megaprimex, your best bet is to check Comichron: A Resource for Comics Research! and compare sales numbers for yourself. We have access to the same limited information as you. Unless someone who worked for IDW wants to come out of the woodwork, you'll only ever get speculation based on incomplete data from us.

    Regeneration One ended in 2014 and as far as I know was always intended to end at 100 as a way for Furman to finish up the Marvel continuity.

    Since IDW lost the Transformers license 8 years later in 2022, I'm going to say that no, Regeneration One selling better would not have saved the license for IDW.
