I find it quite exciting of what all has come from the Transformers Generations line of toys and what will to come. But my main question is.. Will we ever see anymore from the War for Cybertron game? Optimus, Bumblebee, Soundwave and Megatron all look amazing! But will we get the chance to see Jazz, Shockwave, Starscream & the rest of the seekers? Along with the countless others like Aerialbots featured in the game too? It would be sick to see those molds on the shelves and in home as well.. If anyone knows whether or not we'll get these guys or what plans hasbro may or may not have for their release any info if there is any would be awesome.. I'd love to see all the WFC figures come to mold and upon my shelf (as long as they don't do freakin exclusives!!! Lol)

 

I would love to see more, I'd buy any that came out. I think Starscream is very likely due to his repaint potential, as well as Ratchet/Ironhide for the same reason. The others... I can hope.

 

From what I remember reading, someone asked the same thing at botcon and Hasbro basically said there are no plans right now, but if they do make more, Starscream is on the short list of characters.

They probably wont do Jazz, at least not anytime soon, since he's already got a figure coming up in Generations.

 

Probably just repaints.

I think Ironhide/Ratchet and Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp will be made as it only requires two new molds, although Ratchet and Ironhide have different heads and shoulders. I'm always assuming Hasbro makes these on a shoestring budget though, so don't me. I think Warpath and Brawl could be made utilizing the same mold. And Barricade and Sideswipe would make pretty sweet Cybertronian cars although I find their robot modes boring.

At BotCon it was said Trypticon was difficult for a convincing toy as he is an asteroid. I doubt we'll see an Omega too. One hopes these characters reappear in Prime so they'll get a new toy.

 

We only have Optimus and Bumblbee where I am at...  

Hope to find Soundwave and Megatron someday... but I really hope they do make more cause I'd love to get all the Cons.

 

It's only Optimus and BB in most places. Soundwave is wave 3, and Wave 2, with Megatron is only just starting to appear in the US.

 

I would love to see a whole line of War for Cybertron figures. They are some of my favorite designs of all time. The only 2 I could find locally are Optimus and Bumblebee. I see a lot of opportunity for all of the characters in the game to make excellent toys.

I know it is a long shot though. If there were plans to have a complete WFC line within the Generations line it would be in full swing right now.

Perhaps, using Bumblebee as an example, the complexity of the WFC characters is just slowing the design pace and we'll see them down the road.

 

I think it will be easier to budget in post-sequel.

 

I doubt we'll see 'em, but I'd fuckin' love to have a WFC Onslaught.

 

Starscream is on the shortlist, and Cliffjumper is all but confirmed. Other than that, I wouldn't hold your breath.
The WFC designs need a lot of cheating to go from A to B that simply cant be matched by a toy. Even the upcoming Soundwave has clear compromises in the robot mode just to make it work.

I cant even begin to imagine how they'd make accurate toys of guys like Onslaught, Ratchet/Ironhide or even Air Raid.

So seeing toys of these is very unlikely. Although I would like all of them

I sure hope we do get more WFC figures. I so want figures of WFC Barricade and Jazz at the very least.

I hope so!!! Starscream would be a likely candidate. As well as Ironhide/Ratchet. Only time will tell.

Yeah... I'm sure somehow they'd be able to wing it... And since jazz does have his generations (classics3.0) comming out, of course he will probably never be seen as he is in WFC.. And I mean look at cybertronian bumblebee.. The complexity behind his transformation is ridiculous for a deluxe.. Most people don't even know how to make all of his panels flush in alt mode lol, and other than the "backpack" he's almost 100% accurate.... Almost... So I do think it can be done... Just not now.. Boy would I love to have that starscream and shockwave though lol
