I was just looking a a thread of Custom Kreo Microchangers and a thought struck me. Does anyone else kind of wand a Lego transformers game, or at least a Kreo game that plays like the Lego ones? The setting could be earth, like Detroit or Mission city, or perhaps on Cybertron or one of the other transformer world, or even a mix of several locations as Hub worlds, like Lego Batman 3 or Lego Marvel Avengers. Now we could have as the playable characters Kreons/Minifigs for human characters, like Spike or Sari, and then for the transformers as defaults we could perhaps use the Microchangers. Then the larger Kreo sets could be perhaps be used like vehicles in the Lego games, except that if you hold down the interact button instead of the pilot ejecting they transform into their robot modes, where they play as normal. Alternatively both Mircrochangers and the full kit figures could be normal playable characters, similar to the Hulkbuster in Lego Marvel Avengers and Lego Marvel Superheroes 2. Maybe I'm alone but I've always enjoyed the lego games and I figure it could be fun, particularly since, like Marvel and DC, the game could allow us to see a ton of Easter eggs.
Kreo was a cheap attempt at copying Lego that ultimately failed. They clearly didn't learn from the "Built to Rule" line that released with Armada. I'd rather Hasbro not spend time and energy trying to copy others, and spend more time actually doing what they do right. If they really wanted to do another line of brick-built figures, they should just suck it up and go to Lego or Megablocks for a partnership.
