I'm sorry, but as good as the Daleks are, I've always prefered the Cybermen. They're more intersting: They're just trying to ensure the survival of their race.

And one idea thats been churning around in my head for a while is what would happen if a bunch of Telosian Cybermen from the future encountered one of the Mondasian Cybermen from Tenth Planet.

(This will only make sense if you know Dr Who. sIn hort: the Mondasians were the race that became the Cybermen. Mondas was Earth's twin planet but it drifted away into deep space. During its travels, the Mondasians replaced their organs with artificial ones in order to survive. One faction took this to extremes, nearly making themselves into robots. They left Mondas as it passed the outer planets of the solar system, going on to colonise a planet called Telos. Eventually those left on Mondas became Cybermen too, returning to Earth in an attempt to drain its energy. They were apparantly all destroyed when Mondas absorbed too much energy and disintergrated.)

    So here we go.

The basic story is that Mondas sent out explorers not dependant on the planet for energy. These 'Cybernauts' traveled about trying to find suitable planets to drain energy from. A ship full of them crashed near a small English villiage, many years before Mondas returned to the Sol system. Only one survived, Talus, and he was low on energy. He made his way to a cave adjacent to the villiage crypt and collapsed. Two invasions, one from the Cyber Faction (The Invasion) and Mondas (the Tenth Planet) came and went and he remained undesturbed. Then a group of Cybermen from the far future travelled back, desperate to seize him and the information on lost Mondasian technology in his memory banks...

Oh, and the Doctor pops round for tea with an old friend who lives in the area.

And (finally) the picture, which I title Family Tree

Nice picture. Quick question, though... which version of Telosian Cybermen are you using? They're obviously not from Tomb (Cybertelosian) and they look more advanced than the various cyberneomorphs who who turn up from Earthshock onwards (also based on Telos, as shown in Attack of the Cybermen).

Well, perhaps I should have said Neomorph. I mean Telosian in that that's where this type of cyberman were based.

They're supposed to be Silver Nemesis Neomorphs mixed with a bit of the Real Time design mixed in.
