Not a fan of 3D. If everything isn't set right then 3D makes me sick. Having to wear the 3D glasses over my regular glasses is uncomfortable and rather annoying. Jackass 3D was about the only film I've seen in 3D that seemed worth it.

The local theater is rather small so you don't get a 2D option if the film is being shown in 3D. It means that I've started to skip movies at the theater to watch it at home in 2D. Since nothing will change for Transformers 4 except for the human actors I'll just wait to rent the movie because there isn't anything I feel like I must rush out to see at over inflated 3D prices.

Even though DOTM was the most fantastic 3D film I ever saw, no. It hurts my eyes.

And it also made MBay tone down on his style a bit: I don't miss the quick cuts, but the blurred action makes a great vibe.

The eye thing is my major complaint though.

I would really like to see a TF movie in 3D. But I'm fine with either one.

If it's going in space, then a 3d concept would be a good addition, to really feel the intensity outside Earth, imagine that.

I wouldn't mind if it was in 3D, as long as if they shot the entire thing in 3D and rendered the CGI in true 3D (I heard the CGI was converted). I love 3D.
But here's the fact: As soon as a series starts going toward 3D, it's 3D forever. We seen how Journey, Spy Kids, Resident Evil, Step Up, Ice Age, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Final Destination went. Might as well put Transformers in that list.

Nolan hasn't proven anything that wasn't already proven by the likes of The Lion King, Pirates 2, Pirates 3, RotF, Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, LOTR, Finding Nemo, Shrek 2 or many others in the years prior. TDKR was bound to be a huge financial titan regardless of 3D.

    If it's filmed in 3D.

Tired of shitty post-edit 3D movies.

Not only should TF4 be in 3D, but TF 1 and 2 should be post converted and re-released.

If I don't wear glass, I would've said yes. But glass over a glass is so uncomfortable, so no for me. Contact lens nearly destroyed my cornea so I stop wear them.

Don't think it really matters one way or another when it comes to these movies.

Nolan proved nothing of the sort. There were many great movies before The Dark Knight Rises that weren't in 3D. The Dark Knight, for one. And a movie not being in 3D and being good in your opinion doesn't mean 3D is always "just a useless and expensive gimmick." Did you see Prometheus in 3D? I was violently opposed to any and all 3D before Prometheus, and while that movie was garbage, the 3D was artfully used to create depth in shots that really benefitted from it.

That said, I don't personally care for 3D 99% of the time, and would prefer that it be ditched in the mainstream until the technology evolves a bit further. I don't think what we want will have any bearing on the matter, TF4 will almost certainly be in 3D because Bay and money are both involved.

I really don't care. If it is in 3D, I don't think it will really hurt anyone, and if it isn't, it's not doing much on that front either.

    No.

Why does everything need to be in 3D. The Dark Knight Rises didn't need it and I enjoyed it even more without it.

No. 3D makes me nauseous and I honestly feel it adds little to the movie experience.

Martin Scorsese has proved with Raging Bull that color really is just a useless and expensive gimmick. So no, color is useless and shouldn't be used for any movies, Transformers or otherwise.
