Prime is getting his trailer in TF3, but will we get a toy of it?

If we were to, how would you think or want it to turn out?
I have my theories, but I wanted to hear other people's thoughts on it.

It'll probably end up being Legends sized.

 

If it's a significant part of a movie-gimmick, I'm counting on it. In fact, I'm thinking the trailer will help sell the toy as a set, and maybe bump Optimus to Supreme class. The Leader class can then be opened up to other characters as well.

For frugal kids and collectors, a re-release of Voyager Battle Blades Optimus would be cool.

 

Oh, I hope it's not Supreme or Ultra. They always come with a gimmick that ruins the figure for me. Bumblebee got really annoying after a while and supreme class TFA Prime has thunder hips because of his gimmick.

Hell, I would be so content with a voyager sized Prime and his trailer in a box set.

 

Yeah, see that's actually exactly what I'm thinking they'll end up doing. Just because it'd be a whole lot easier on store shelf space.

I'm also curious what people think the trail might actually do? You think it'll be the return of the trailer playset? Or powerup armor?

 

I think it's just going to end up being a station that holds and attaches Jetfire's parts.

yeah i imagine it will be a straight up repaint of ROTF leader prime with the new trailer, though i do wish he would be buster prime, at least for the awesome gas tank gun

 

oh we already know what it will be...
he rips off Motormaster's head, looks at the rest of him, says, "give me yer ass..." and wears his trailer as a sick trophy/skin a la Jetfire's corpse.

seriously, i don't want to really buy another voyager or Leader Prime, but i do so want a trailer for each.

And...i suppose a Supreme Class OP with bad-ass trailer beats RotF Supreme Devy, huh?

 

Its going to happen for sure. Its another way to sell ROTF prime mold. Probably some command base. it can also be done like HAs and come with a human like lennox and his motorcycle to keep it cheap.

 

Depends entirely on how big a role the trailer has, and what the trailer actually does.

You see, if it is just a mobile command base for NEST, then it's not going to be all that exciting as a toy, and it'll just be a big block of plastic that kids will just toss in the closet while they play with Optimus.

On the other hand, if it turns into a battle station, then it's slightly more exciting. And if it is combiner armour, then count on it. I can't think of a single series where an Autobot has had powered up super armour that hasn't been released as a toy.

My personal pipe dream is that the trailer ends up being its own robot, and that way it gets its own release as a Voyager/Ultra/Leader/Supreme.

 

I'm hoping we see the Bayverse version of Powermaster Optimus Prime...I may explode myself if this happens. So I definitely want the trailer to form Prime's armor.

 

I'd gladly pay the Supreme Price, if that meant we got an in scale to HA Prime and Trailer that either combined or interacted with future HA releases.

Not sure, the idea of it being used to transport jetfire's parts is a good idea, but wouldnt make for a good toy I dont think.
