From what we saw in TF4, All Autobots, Hound, Crosshairs, Drift, Optimus and Bumblebee united in the desert. They claimed there were no more Autobots besides them.

So if there is going to be a TF5, do you think they will just stick with the 5 Autobots (4 if Optimus permanently leaves), or do you think there will be more Autobots to come?

They could arrive to earth or some were hiding and did not dare show their faces. I just hope there are more Autobots, specifically Prowl.

 

We'll probably see more Bots in T5, and not just on Earth. Since Prime is galavanting across the galaxy in search of the Creators, he'll probably come across other Bots.

 

If there are, they better be in space where Optimus meets them during his travels. No more "showing up on Earth out of nowhere" crap.

 

If they focus the next Transformers in space, that probably mean no cars and no Mark.

 

I like seeing the Autobots who are jackasses, so more guys like that, please.

 

Haven't you noticed? There is always going to be new bots in the next movie. I cannot believe it took me this long to realize it is a cinematic toy commercial. That's why we rarely seen any Cybertronians from the previous movies. Only Bumblebee, Optimus, and Megatron gets the through.

I really wish for "the other bots are in hiding or are on other missions" excuse.

 

Well, they have to sell new toys some how...

 

My guess is that (if Bay comes back) T5 will have 2 separate storylines. One will focus on the Earth Bots. I'm sure more Bots will join up with Team Dirty Foursome.

The other storyline will then focus on Prime's galaxy wide search for the Quintessons. He'll no doubt come across even more Bots and maybe even some Cons.

 

There is also the option of Prime returning to Earth at the final battle of TF5 since half of the movie might focus on Earth and the other Autobots and Gavlatron's new plan and the other half can focus on Optimus finding his creators.

 

Marky Marky and his funky bunch signed a 3 picture deal.

 

5 bots. Do not forget about Brains.

 

Of course there are going to be new bots, the question is whether or not they'll have any characterization.

 

Maybe without Megatron or Galvatrons interference humans will refine the human built transformers and at least in part some new autobots could come from that. It was mentioned in aoe Galvatron was supposed to look like optimus, maybe they could build Ultra Magnus. I also think Optimus might come across other autobots in space maybe in the final battle of tf5 they come back to earth for the fight.

 

Hey, you never know, maybe Cade will invent a space suit that transforms.

Without doubt they will have new toys in the next movie.
I hope beyond hope that they get proper introductions rather than just turning up.

 

i predict magnus might be present. a) because i want him to be lol and b) because with prime away im thinking they might somehow try to fill the leadership role partially. prime was away from the autobots at the beginning of aoe and it feels a bit odd if they leave it like that yet again. autobots with no leader, thats why im thinking magnus might be there

 

I think Magnus or Rodimus will arrive whether he be someone sent by Prime to keep in check with the dirty four. It'd be cool to see a leader that hasn't got control of his troups like Magnus or Rodimus as both of them would be opposite to Optimus, the bots follow Optimus no matter what but under others they might be more argumentative if they don't respect the leader. The series is wide open to have a new leader in Optimus' stead as they'll want to keep pumping these movies out after Peter Cullen stops playing Optimus Prime I would think.

 

It's almost a given that we'll see new bots and even cons in TF5. Storyline wise, I think we'll still be on Earth with hopefully a side story showing Prime out in space looking for the creators. Maybe he'll find some new bots out there, but they're likely only be protoforms like most of the others we've seen who haven't scanned an earth mode yet. So, who knows.
