do you think Hasbro will add more to the First edition prime line? and put breakdown and any of the other japan exlusives to the 1st edition hasbro line?
No, because it was meant as a preview line (thus the name). Now that the main line is out, there's no reason to put new stuff in it.
The brief summary: Originally only a few deluxe figures were planned (Arcee being one of them) to be released as part of the generations line. Hasbro then decided to make the First Edition line and release it after the end of the DOTM line and before the Prime main line. Hasbro then pulled the plug on the FE line in the US after only a few deluxes saw a release, while other countries got pretty much the entire line minus the Vehicon and Terrocon Cliffjumper. The fans were outraged, secondary market prices skyrocketed. Hasbro said OK we'll reissue them as a Entertainment Earth/BBTS/TRU shared exclusive The peasants... I mean fans rejoiced.
No, they won't, but wish they would..or had. I really wish they dropped Vehicon for a Voyager Ratchet. That way we'd have 3 voyagers, 3 deluxes and all the Autobots within the premier line..and Starscream and Dlx Megatron as the bonuses. Or evne dropped Terrorcon Cliff for a Voyager Megatron too-- but alas, what could have been.
There's always hope for Botcon or the TFCC. You know they'll revisit these molds like they did Slipstream. Frankly I'd like to see the first edition molds re-worked as separate characters to go alongside the RID toys as unique additions to the ranks.
