I guess if it came down to just G1 or just the movies I'd have to take the old G1 cartoons because it offered Decepticons as actual characters and you never had to worry about Bumblebee peeing on someone. Can't really recall any G1 episodes with balls on Devastator or someone's mom went crazy on pot brownies.

The movies have had some cool moments but overall they just haven't been giving me the sort of stuff I go to the movie for. But that's kind of been the problem with me and all the other Bay movies so it seems like our tastes are just never going to be the same.

If it came down to pick anything I'd say stuff like Beast Wars, Animated, and Transformers Prime. I just like a story I can get into, characters that stand out, and a feeling like the Decepticons or Predicons aren't going to lose every singe time.
