Do you plan to BUY a Warbot Defender if the aftermarket price drops?

?

What is the price you would pay for a Defender?

  1. I already have one, and plan to keep it. Don't need another.

    Triple play.

Defender is Classics era. Springer is Generations era.

I kinda want one to just complete the warbot series but with how expensive he is lately I just don't know if he would be that essential to my collection.

The Hasbro one really wowed me and I'm getting him too, but I will always keep Defender as I plan to own every Warbot ever made.

I think I'm crazy. I think the Hasbro version does look better, but I wish he wasn't as big. Of course, at a deluxe size, we'd be having the Universe Galvatron problems, so... yeah, I understand the need to make him a voyager.

Defender definitely took some liberties in the design, but I can still see Springer in it.

...Why? It IS objective better than Defender. I understand you're critical of Hasbro often, but I smell a ton of bias coming out of you on this case.

Answering the OP...yeah, actually, but I wouldn't pay more than 50 bucks for one. Voyager Springer is fucking amazing and it will be hard for me to buy another Springer. I kinda want to get all the Warbots, and getting Springer will have net me 2/3 of the Warbots out.

I agree. I will say, like all replacement figures, that he served a purpose and filled a hole, but Hasbro has really knocked it out of the park on this one.

Got my springer today and he is pretty awesome. I've heard some as he is to skinny, but I always thought of springer as lean but strong. I have yet to transform him, but IM happy so far. I feel Hasbro made a good one this time. I've always wanted a Warbot defender just never been able to afford him.

Both figures are good but both have flaws. Neither are a "definite" Springer to me. I'm still waiting on something like this to come along:

    Springer by Blitz.

I may get Springer, but I'm definitely keeping Defender. It looks more like the traditional G1 Springer to me. (I don't follow IDW's comics at all.)

Not in a rush, as GDO Springer (especially with MegaMoonMan's upgrade parts) is already pretty nifty, but I think I'd rather have Defender over the voyager Springer. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the comic accurate design of the Voyager, but it just doesn't scale as well against other Wreckers figures I have on display.

They should make the Steelcore and that whole line more affordable for the masses.

Defender always looked nice but he just never really clicked with me. I never had a huge desire for him. So I still have no desire for him. I think he looks fine and don't bash anyone who digs him, but for what ever reason he just did nothing for me.

If I ever come across a Defender for something around $30, I'll probably bite just for the hell of it, though I do prefer the overall look of Generations Springer. Mostly because I like Defender's double pistols a lot more than the gun that Springer has.

Defender for $20, I can't see it drop to that low, minimum I'd say is 50.

Warbot Defender is a brilliant figure. I love most everything about it.
The Hasbro take on Springer does look nice for the price point, but over all inferior to Defender in my opinion. I have no need for the Hasbro version.

Yeah I highly doubt anyone would sell him at that much of a loss, they rather keep it on the shelf
