Do you plan to BUY a Warbot Defender if the aftermarket price drops?

?

What is the price you would pay for a Defender?

  1. I already have one, and plan to keep it. Don't need another.

Okay, so with Hasbro getting off their ass and actually making toys people want for a change, the aftermarket price of Warbot Defender has dropped a bit from the fetching over $200 each down to more sane levels. Would you plan to get a Warbot Defender for your collection if the price was right? I've seen them going for $60 each these days.

I honestly really like the Hasbro Springer, I could not afford the warbot when it came out. But I definetly wanted a Warbot Defender when it first came out it still is a cool bot, but I'm good with the new Springer from Hasbro.

$20, why pay more than Hasbro's latest verson? WB Defender isn't that much better that it is worth over a double diget % increase in price.

    Ah, ok.

I was interested, but I like the new Hasbro Springer more and selling warbot will pay for both Springer and Blitzwing.

I'd be interested in getting one in the 30 dollar range. Defender did several things that I really liked in engineering, especially his leg-mounted holsters, and I really do love how all three of his modes look.
I missed getting him when he first came out, then his after-market prices were to high for me. But 20-30? Love to get him^^

I'm getting Springer but already have Defender... I plan to keep both. Springer is my favorite Transformer, the snarky bastard, so I have no issue with haveing multiple variations on his design.

I'd pay $60 for it. Not the $150 they're going for on ebay. Hell, I'd love a rerelease of the guy with all the die cast parts remolded in plastic. That would be even better.

WD has always felt more like a $50-70 3rd party figure to me (I believe it originally cost around $70). That's the price range that I paid for mine. Personally, I don't think he's worth anything beyond that. And I say this despite owning one. Of course, this doesn't mean that I'm going to unload it, either. Despite picking up the new Springer, I've no desire to sell my WD. It's still a very nice figure for those looking for a modernization of the G1 design. My advice is to go for the best available deal (≤ $70).

Keeping WD. The new Springer may well shit all over him from a commanding height but WD was good for his time and does a great job anchoring one end of my Classics display shelf with his die-cast heft keeping floppy joints Perceptor upright.....so he's going nowhere.

Had him when he first came out, paid the 80? or so he cost then. Wouldn't pay much more than that, honestly.

Sold him for the same amount after Gen. Springer as a Triple changers's first pics showed up. He was a nice first attempt, but FP has gotten a lot better since then and there were some nitpicks I had about him that just didn't do it for me. (What he looks like from the side was a big one)

Fun while I had him though, but like all things, time to move on. Love my Assaulter though! :D

I think people are crazy when they think Defender has ever made a passable Springer.
