Since this is now a technology forum as well as a game forum, let's find out what everyone's watching movies and gaming on.

The question is simple, do you own an HDTV?

Mine is a 42 " 720p/1080i LCD. I like it, we got a great deal on it and it is perfect for our living room right now.

It's not letting me vote BTW

I may not vote in this poll either. Why hast thou forsaken me?!

Anywho, I'm in the fourth category: No, I'll stick with standard definition TV for awhile. My current TV (HDMI-capable) is less than a year old, 1080p HDTVs are still far too expensive and my finances aren't solid enough right now to justify blowing money on pricey electronics. I look forward to eventually getting an HDTV, but it won't be until prices drop significantly.

I have a 27 in 780p 1080i HDTV that I got about 4 years ago. Too bad for me that I can't get HD cable without paying an arm and leg.

EDIT: I must also suck, because I can't vote on the poll.

"You may not vote on this poll"

Though I haven't been able to vote in polls for a year or more now.

But my written vote is yes, I have an HDTV

Still no voting option for me. I think it probably has to do with the Vet usergroup settings. But thanks for trying Joe :)
