do you mix your Transformers collection or leave all one series together

I organize my displays mostly by series, but I do try to keep molds from a certain series together even if they were released in other lines. Just so the aesthetics make sense. I don't have the figure yet, but I'd put that Walmart-exclusive AOE Strafe that was a blue redeco of the old BW Terrorsaur figure with my other BW figures, not movie-verse stuff.

My collection is one big happy mixture of various lines.

I used to display them by series/toylines, but now I don't see much of a point in it.

I tend to mix. I have mostly Optimus Primes of the G1-esque look, so the rest are kinda just neat figures I've picked up along the way. So, I have Prime Vehicon hanging out with the Classics Armada Seekers, right by my Combiner Wars teams, Fall of Cybertron Shockwave battling several repaints of the RiD Warrior Class Optimus, etc.

I mix them. It's really cool to see the different styles from various lines.:D  They are separated into basic factions though.

I mix and match all of my figures. There are Beast Wars figures on the same shelf as Masterpiece figures, Armada figures, Mini-Cons, Combiner Wars Figures, RiD figures, and Go! figures.

Mix and match is fun. I used to be big into having shelves for each line, but decided to just group what looks good together.
A few examples would be having TR Wheelie and Generations Arcee on my MP Autobot shelf, UW Devastator on my MP Decepticon shelf, PRiD Vehicon, Botcon Cindersaur and Cybertron Sideways on my CW and TR Decepticon shelf.
The only figures I don't mix in are Animated. They just stand out too much.

The only figures I keep separate are my MPs. Otherwise, they are all together, and I mix lines for display all the time. Of course, 97% of my collection fits under the CHUG umbrella, do it's not that crazy of a mix.

Masterpiece, there is only one. I would mix a 3P not-Megs or whichever in there but either they're cheaply made or the engineering just doesn't cut it.

Other lines are fair game. I have customs and (sadly) those notoriously cheap imitation 3P toys.

I mostly just mix it. Currently I have a shelf with AOE Evasion mode Optimus, Generations Windblade, Combiner Wars Prowl and RID 01 Sideburn all together.

Being a CHUG-lector I'd say yes...I do mix & mingle to support the collection...its mainly the obvious CHUG lines...supplemented by WFC & FOC ()mostly for those that originally had cybertronian or futuristic looks ), Prime & RID '15 (when figure interest me & has a "Classic" type look)...and...the movie-verse (usually for characters that have a monstrous look)...oh and then there are the Timelines figures...

My collection is divided into Cinematic Universe Autobots, Cinematic Universe Decepticons, G1/Masterpiece/Classics/Universe/Generations Autobots, G1/Masterpiece/Classics/Universe/Generations Decepticons (though I'm an Autobot away from transferring my G1 and Masterpiece figures to their own space in my closet), Aligned Continuity Autobots, Aligned Decepticons/Predacons, and then I have one shelf where I throw pretty much everything else from Unicron Trilogy to Animated, as well as any Beast Wars and Armada homages from the Generations lines.

I have things separated pretty well, mostly by universe. Unicron trilogy toys are together, all movie toys are together, G1 characters from all lines are together, Beast Wars/Machines toys are together, etc.

Mine used to be separated, now movie-verse, Energon, Classics, Alternators, G1, Cybertron, Prime all reside on 2 shelf units together. I have one shelf that is all AOE. Combiner Wars and Titans Return share 3 shelves. My goal would be an area for each line but I don't foresee that happening unless I win the lottery.

All muddled up by size and series & faction - AFTER the G1 -that is - that has it's own place (for the most part) Beast Wars is kinda together. AEC and RID is kinda together everything after that if just stuck together depending on what I've been playing with.

I do have a draw full of nothing but Optimus Trailer and another draw full of nothing but Universe Inferno Repaint/remoulds and a draw full of mostly Classic seekers and their remoulds/repaints & Ko's except Botcon G2 Ramjet who gets to live on the posh shelf.

Some of my Movie stuff is in storage though at the moment.
